Love Selu Vibra - Divine (Original mix)

New tune from Selu Vibra, that was played a couple of days ago by Armin. Some may say it is the run of the mill trance, but I loved the sweeping warm pads, and high pitched synths...

It is the kind of trance that first hooked me. Awesome awesome work from Selu Vibra. Will be out on Somatic Sense, but no release date as of now.
My favorite track that I have heard so far this year.

It reminds me of something gouryella-ish, I think thats why I like it so much! やあああった!!

i dont know why armin's playing this as it's a quality track

heard it a while ago in a precision set, which is why i listen to precision.

original and funabashi mixes are quality, cant wait to hear the carl b mix

The breakdown is bordering on cheesy.... but when the beat kicks back in it's phat.

we'll he played the other selu vibra tune a lot too, so it didn't really suprise me all that much. Dind't really like how he mixed into it though.

Hmmmm Funasbashi & Carl B... I'm interested to see what they each did with this track b/c I love the original!

funabashi mix is hot

so hard to choose which is better, still have to hear Carl's mix.

precision was mixing out of funabashi's mix early and was dead on so the beats cancelled each other out for a solid 40 sec when the tune was gettin going then armin dropped it recently and using ableton took the melody of the next song and played over a loop of funabashis mix and never let it get to the good part

so we STILL have yet to get a good rip of it...but the precision clip sounds VERY promising

cant wait for the release....but i was wondering why every release on somatic gets the same remixers, i think Pascal needs to be a little more innovative wiht his remixers . But anyways, awesome track

Just heard this on ASOT. I'm loving this track- one of the best I've heard in a while.

Also, does anyone else hear some similarities to Solid Sessions - Janeiro? Kept reminding of it!

the original is nice and got a cool uplifting vibe. 8 wonder remix is weak and lacks in both energy and creativity. is it me or is that filter he is using something that sounds like Push's?

just heard it on asot and its really great, didnt like their first track but this is damn good!

Thanks!

I didn't remix Devine fyi, you are probably thinking of Stargazing.

I thought it was pretty energetic myself... are there some Push influences in the remix? Definitely, at the same time, Mike didn't invent the saw.

Stunning track. Gona be a very big Ibiza tune. Expect Armin to hammer it all Spring and Summer long. Break is borderline cheesy but you cant take away the power and quality of something this well made

Smiley DJ

I wasn't too impressed with the Funabashi remix, didn't have the killer breakdown like the original, made it seem a bit lack luster. Still waiting to here the Carl B mix. I think a good chill-mix would suit this kinda track perfect too (if done right).

Posted by trance-ecj on Mar-30-2006 23:36:

yeah, it does remind me of Janeiro, very much so in parts

also, for those who heard the funabashi remix in asot, that rip does NOT do the actual track any justice...armin might as well have not played the damn thing cus he just looped a section after the break and played it with the next tracks melody...you couldnt hear the best part of the track!

I knew I couldn't be the only one! At first I thought it was a remake/update of Janeiro. But I'm liking this track more!

Posted by 8Wonders on Mar-31-2006 03:25:

The intro riff does sound like Janeiro yep.

maybe the old saw should be put to rest soon

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's an instrument that works very well for certain types of melodies so why change it.

Maybe rock artists should stop using guitars!

yeah well they should actually
rock is the most unoriginal genre ever..

i like rock, but some people say 90% of trance is crap, well in rock that is something like 99,99%

oh and on the topic, this is what i just wrote to trance.nu, so i might aswell just paste it:
"yeah it's a great track, i'm a bit bothered by the intro's pluck that is 1:1 same with janeiro, but once the breakdown starts i don't really mind that one anymore"

Posted by Dan1584 on Apr-01-2006 00:21:

... back on topic shall we?
