Morning psy trance recommendations needed

I am looking high quality morning psychadelic tunes...

Protoculture type stuff...

Any recommendations????

Check out Mo-Shic. I'm not a huge fan of psy, but I heard Mo-Shic's stuff on Beatport and it sounds good, it's a bit progressive psy i'de say, but i'm no expert. When I think of morning stuff I think of more chilled or proggy stuff, not full on psy.

Morning style is my favorite with Protoculture being my favorite artist. Check out both mixes in my sig below which include a lot of morning stlye psy. You can also go to the thread for each mix to see the tracklist. There are many of Protoculture's tracks in my mixes. I can't wait for his new album Circadians to be released here in the next few weeks!! I'm counting the days...

you are totally wrong. Moshic is very much NOT psy.
besides he asked for morning psy which is the more melodic and uplifting vibe of psytrance.

i recommend Human Blue, Electric Universe, California Sunshine

Well I found it in the psy trance section of Beatport so I figured it was a more progressive sounding psy. I don't know that much about psy like you guys I just figured Mo-Shic had a morning feel, and I always associate morning with progressive, organic and chilled stuff. What is Mo-Shic then? just general prog trance? Certaintly not epic, nor hard...sounds tribal like...similar to Goa.

Mo-Shic is progressive house. Got nothing to do with psytrance.

morning psy is very uplifting and melodic psy. example: SAMPLE

Ok thanks. I just saw it listed under Psy and it sounded different the typical psy so I figured it must be progressive psy, because it sounded similar to progressive house, but I guess they put it in the wrong catagory, which they are guilty of doing sometimes.

yes it's quite common that they mislabel stuff.

progpsy is stuff like Ticon, Andromeda, Son Kite, Vibrasphere etc

For some good prog psy check out: andromeda, halodium, freq, antix, atmos, lish, virbrasphere, ticon, tegma, s-range, liquid soul, 12 moons, etc...mostly swedish artist and labels..

Morning style is indeed a real term used to describe psytrance. You will hear the term used quite a bit in album descriptions on psyshop and saikosounds. Also the term is used frequently on the isratrance and psynews.org forums. When I made my first psy track, those that heard it immediately classified it as "morning style" which at the time was a totally new term to me.

Good stuff man! like it from the previews. I guess my ignorance about psy trance is gone, i'm gonna have to check this stuff out. I guess not all psy has annoying acidy noises.
