Yeah Sander K plays this style. I like it a lot. His track "The Fruit" is still a really good and funky tune, would be awesome to hear it in a club. There's a local DJ where I live named Mike Chezch, and he plays this style too. Haven't seen him, but it would be cool to someday.

Theres some good stuff, but like most music, you have to wade through alot of crap to find it. And alot of people are playing the crap generic stuff right now.

I can't stand any form of electro... absolutely despise it and it seems that every chart these days is dominated by them. What makes is so appealing? To me it just seems like the same sound is being used over and over

occasionally I will find a track I like, and later learn it is classified into this category, but I rarely look specifically for electro house. I just happen by a few interesting tunes every now and then. I find I enjoy music alot more when I don't pay attention to how it is classified, the good stuff is the stuff you hear and don't immedeatly realize that is electro house, but just really really fun.

Ozgur Can is a good example of a great producer gone bad with electro....

Some of it can be really good, but I feel there are too many tracks produced these days just to fit the "electro house" style and they turn out being terrible. Sander K plays a lot of the good stuff, and I like his style in particular because of the funky stuff he adds in.

That's the kind of stuff I don't mind ...nice hard bass to it but with the funky side too.

For crappy Electro house, listen to some of Benny Benassi's stuff, yeah "Satisfaction" was good for the first few months but like "Sandstorm" it gets annoying. I think this can be true for a lot of electro house in particular, but I haven't gotten sick of Sander's "The Fruit" yet, yeah it's kinda cheesy, but it is still funky!

Edit: The Ivan Gough & Grant Smillie Mix was just released and it's quite nice.
