Kingdom Hearts II

I played the first game and fell in love with it. I decided to check this one out.

I love the music in this game. Sanctuary is a great song. I'm happy that Utada Hikaru was chosen once again to do the theme song for the game. I just heard it two days ago and was amazed. I had heard Passion, the Japanese version of Sancturay, and was expecting to hear the English version to know what the song was all about.

Is anyone playing this game? It was just released here in the US but I know it was released way before in Asia.

It may be true. It may take longer for a person not as skilled. Fortunately there are three different levels to choose from. I choose the easiest first time around and now I'm playing at the hardest.

And the storyline seemed songer in this one. I'm sure it's going to seem a lot longer playing it at the hardest level. I'll get back to you on this one.

that's ok for me.
I takes me about 60-70 hours to finish a good RPG + finish any of its quest.

Never played either one but have heard nothign but good things about them, so I'll pick them up eventually.

I've got to say that I was disspointed with the difficulty in this game it was way too easy.

According to a number of reviewers, you can beat the game with nothing but button mashing.

A shame, really.

True. But I like smashing buttons. And the story itself is actually a good one.

Playing this atm. So far I have played almost 20 hours.

Waaaaay too many movies, they kill the action, I want to fight. The story-line is ok, I have to admit I am a bit confused, even the characters don't even know why they are fighting.
I like the new worlds, especially the darker worlds (Beast's castle, Port Royal,Halloween Town etc...) but they should not include worlds from KH1.

I liked the first one better so far. Traverse town

The problem with kingdom hearts II was that to me it just felt way too recycled. Same music, same worlds, mediocre storyline, and repetitive and very easy gameplay. I liked the first one better.

excuse me?
There are no puzzles at this game. KH1 had some puzzles but 2 has none.

It is obvious that Square aimed to attract the young Disney fans and not the FF old-school addicts like did in the first. It lacks some new FF characters.

The game keeps getting better and better after the 20 hours when the organization make clear their intentions after that awesome Hollow Bastion war/fight and Sora learns WHY he is fighting.

I hoped there would be some random people living in Hollow Bastion ,like Traverse town had in the first. A FF-style pub would be great. The town looks so empty.

Yeah... I am hearing that they plan, in a couple of years of doing a 3rd one. If you watch the end all the way through you notice several people in armor. The picture is captioned Keyblade wars. Much speculation is on that. Yeah, Radiant Garden (Hollow Bastien), is kinda empty.
