Can the Gunners go all the way?

After their first class display against Juventus at Highbury, and the memorable win at Madrid, has the time finally come for Arsenal to lift their first European cup?

Being a die hard Arsenal supporter myself, I think our chance is better than ever! Seven clean sheets in a row, with Fabregas and Henry absolutely kicking ass, im feeling optimistic to say the least. With Barcelona and AC still in the competition the task will definitely be a tough one, however repeating Liverpools performence last season is not beyond our means.

What do you guys think?

havent seen them play in a while but theres no doubting their talent. and if liverpool can do it, arsenal certainly can. but theres no way anyones ever gonna repeat our performance last year from 0-3 to winning ever again!

go the gunners! good to see the english teams doing well best of luck madis.

not sure if they can go all the way, barcelona are playing irresistable football at the moment and ac milan are on par with barcelona.

definitely think they will make the final, but i am not sure if they can win in the final against either barca or milan.

Im hoping Lyon and Benfica pull off irresitable displays away from home against AC and Barca, and then Benfica eliminate Lyon in the semi!lol

wishful thinking I know.

Definitely would rather lineup against AC rather than Barca. AC haven't been themselves this season in their league and can leak goals (as demonstrated in last years final) will be interesting though.

giddy up Paulie_C

if arsenal do make the final, there will be a supporters club gathering watching the final at the charles dickens.

then we can drive thru lygon st and bag the milan supporters

something tells me benfica will slip past barca, 1 goal counts as 2 in the next lef for benfica, Milan are the danger side, they dont have the league to worry about juve has it sewn up

I like your thinking Sid

Then Benfica to beat Arsenal in the final and lift the trophy

umm err .. no they won't make it all the way coz as someone mentioned MILAN and Barca are still in it..

no way Paulieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Get with reality, your crap ...

Posted by Xavier on Mar-31-2006 12:45:

they'll knockout inter next round...

They have the players to do it, though they are missing one vital ingredient, that could prevent them getting their hands on big ears, I won't mention what it is.

and while ur slagging arsenal off, united atm is where?????????????

realisticly speaking it is obviously a long long way away. Im basing my judgement on their performences throughout the current campaign.

- 7 clean sheets in a row (achievement which is overshadowed by the current form of Fabregas and Henry. Only one of the starting current back four, Senderos, was bought as a defender)

- Yet to loose a game

- Playing five across midfield with either Ljungberg, Reyes, Pires or Hleb playing the support role behind Henry. This has worked wonders for the Gunners. It has killed any threat that the opposing team might hit us on the counter and stopped wide players getting any decent crosses into their frontmen (ala Madrid).

- Thierry Henry. Best striker in the world and really starting to dominate on the worlds biggest stage. Clinical finisher and provides ample opportunity for supoorting players.

- Mad Jens! Refer to the first point.

LETS GO ARESENAL! ALWAYS SINGING!

Fuck Oath they can!
Especially with such a stunning & beautiful creation such as Freddie SEXY Ljungberg leading the way!

Posted by OLi_A on Apr-01-2006 08:28:

dont like the gunners, but i hope they can go all the way in the cl, losing henry would be a tragedy

Posted by MiSSyM on Apr-01-2006 08:32:

I dont care if he is shit, he makes up for it in the looks department!

Posted by doubleecho on Apr-01-2006 10:28:
