Generally bpm's have been getting lower and yes more minimal and electro is being played by tech dj's.I think this is just a trend for now and that sooner or later the balls to the wall stuff will be back.

If you cant wait:

www.djprech.com

i highly suggest the live sets on his site, especially the one from Awakenings...Plus support the Canadians BTG

hah
you cannot evolutionize yourself then.
its the new futuristic tech and you want banging stuff... go back to the 90s man

Posted by iammesol on Mar-31-2006 15:25:

My brother is addicted to this genre

Posted by superglo on Mar-31-2006 15:35:

it's all about pitching down the hard banging techno stuff abit.
pitching up the minimal stuff a lil.
then layering that shit.
then you get hard banging bleeps and bloops.
woohoo

There is a lot, and I mean really a lot of crap techno being released lately. Fortunately, there still are the odd decent releases.

Some samples you might like (or not):

Inaki Villasante - The persecution begins
Exium - Flexible

Plus one of my favourite tracks from '05:

Kike Pravda - Main control

Have fun.
