How could I tell whether my satellite speakers could handle this sort of receiver?

this sort of receiver has "large banana plugs" for speakers; my speakers use the smaller type of input, but is it possible to just replace the cables? As long as the wattage and ohms matches?
ya you should be fine, its only 100w per channel @8ohms....
just make sure your speakers are 8ohm or more. ie dont run 4 ohm speakers with this or oyull blow the circuits....
Thanks for the reply; I assumed that if the ohms is fine then they should work. My current speakers are at 8ohms, which is the minimum required for the receiver; so its all good.
Does it matter if the connections on the speakers are different from the ones on the receiver? The ones on the receiver are the large banana plugs; whereas on the satellite speakers its the small connections for the
