I want to say sorry to the crowd @ Hernan last night!
I know this sounds totally funny, but this is how awful I felt last night, I danced like shit!!! I had so many people come up to me last night and say hi while I was dancing and I never felt sooooo out of it in all my gigs. For some reason last night during the show and the show was good too, I could not keep up my energy, I felt faint, dehydrated, I tried soooo hard to keep going but my performance was crap!!! I even had one photographer come up to me last night and say, "Are you ok? Cause' this is the first time I've ever seen you not be your usual self." And he was totally right. I didn't eat hardly yesterday not really thinking about it and I think it took it's toll on me.
So for those of you who went last night, I took ALOT of breaks to drink water and at one point, I literally thought I was going to pass out so yes I admittedly say I did not do well for the crowd and for those who seen me, I dance my arse off. Last night just wasn't my night, I felt it when I got there too. I left quickly after I was done and went home to sleep.
Next week when Roger comes I'll be up to par and I hope everyone enjoyed the night anyway, we got a really good crowd last night!!!

DeS! I remember you takin' a few breaks but we (my homegirls from out of town loved you) all thought you still killed it. I guess that's how you know a good dancer.. when she's still super dope while she thinks she sux. Hey and we were waiting for someone to dance on that island in the crowd.. that woulda been ill. And mad props to umbrella girl-she was doing some sweet little poses
Let me also say that we had a fookin blaSty! Hernans beats were everything I wanted to hear and more, and Dave closed out nicley with some hard, electro styles.
4th & B, while fun. Mop YoUR FlOoRs! jeez, I had a case of the sticky-foot for most of the night. Nice Decor though. I was definatley feelin the big spheres. anyone got pics yet? Ill have mine soon.
Looking forward to Sharam/BT
see you there
I was standing in front of where you were dancing for a bit. Caught you hitting the Red Bull a couple of times.
Don't be so hard on yourself . . . you were fine.
The stage was much better this time (glad the shadow boxes are history) but the box around the dj booth was way to high. When standing close to the booth in front you can't see a thing.
I like to watch what the dj is doing to the mixer and was not able to with the present setup.
The crowd was great. The vibe is there. A real good mix of people.
Thanks to all who were involved with the event. Definatly on to something here guys.
Des, I'm sure you have more dancing talent in your lil' pinky toe than most of us ever will but clubbers-club for reasons unrelated to go-go dancing.
Nonetheless, it's noble of you to apologize for something you need not have to.
I'm sure people will flame me for this but...
feel better soon! ![]()

What company was taking pics for this? I have a few of my own, but was hoping some pro-shots would get posted.
I don't want to pooh-pooh the night, but I thought you were going to apologize for the boring sets. I thought Hernan was okay, and the first song he dropped after Boris left was great, but neither Hernan or Seaman especially took me anywhere. It was good but not great. Even Boris was playing different music than when I've seen him before--housier.
I was pretty uninspired by the music, but Deslyn it was nice to meet you. From the other posts it sounds like Seaman's set in LA pretty much stunk too.
I didn't think the crowd was very much into either set. It was like the night never really took off. Maybe I'm just being too critical of my own buzz, which never really took off...
I had a much better time last time Ferry was in town. Maybe I just like it better when Victor closes it down. Victor rocks.

CND, tnx for the link.
Either a lot of the crowd shots were taken around the same time, or I had a better time than I remember--because I see myself in a lot of pix and I look pretty jazzed.
So maybe I was too critical in my first recap of the night.
One question: I'm sort of interested in seeing Sharam with BT, but their styles seem to be so very divirgent that I can't see how it can possibly work. Can anybody explain this matchup?
thank ya thank ya.. theres some on www.klubcircuit.com too
edit: Well Hernan and Dave aren't the closest in musical styles either but I liked that. It kind of set up a "round 2" in my head for the night. I know Sharam will rock the place and I haven't seen BT in like 8 years.. so this is a must for me. Already stoked
