Trance riping off Hardcore!

You do think about Cheesy trance chart songs ripping-off Hardcore tunes?

For those that dont know any, heres a list:

Ultrabeat - Pretty Green Eyes (originally by Force & Styles)
Heart of Gold (originally by Force & Styles)
EyeOpener (originally by Brisk & Trixxy)

There are tones more, but cant be bothered giving you a full list.

I personally feel that they are AWFUL tracks compared to the original and have only went and spioled them. Although, having sayed that, i feel more and more people have gotten into Hardcore because of it.

Why don't you keep your smacked up opinions to yourself, you're a disgrace to fans of either trance or hardcore.

The remakes of pretty green eyes, heart of gold etc were because the shitmongers at labels such as AATW (Cancers on music) bought rights off force & styles & whoever f or a pittance, not revealing what they were going to do with them, they butcher them and make thousands & millions off other peoples ideas. They aren't even trance, they're commercial filth, so trance isn't ripping off hardcore. Hardcore in 1998/9 began to lose originality, it did have it, like it or not, and began speeding up trance songs.

Posted by Aquascape on Apr-02-2006 17:13:

Yeah, cheesy trance artists (namely Flip & Fill) butchered quite a few of the classic happy hardcore anthems... what's happened to them now anyway?

However this new happy hardcore actually seems to rip off trance. It's like sped up, simplified cheesy trance... although some of it does sound cool

Posted by gizzymcg on Apr-02-2006 17:18:

The remakes simply slowed down the hardcore versions and added eurodance like riffs. Its not rocket science but it ISNT trance either

Posted by marcos.tate on Apr-02-2006 18:31:

yawn all this rubbish about being ripped off makes me laugh.

Nobody got ripped off you morons, Mr Force and Mr Styles got nice little pay cheques for the covers that happen, they happened because THEY allowed it to happen.

So stop your rubbish about rip offs

Happy hardcore is one of those genres I can write off the entirety of, without feeling guilty or musically ignorant.

Posted by wolftickets on Apr-03-2006 03:59:

Exclamation

That's not new. I have heard plenty of trance songs since 2001 that use hardcore elements(like the distorted 909 drum). Isn't it called trancecore or something like that?

Posted by apollo_144 on Apr-03-2006 14:04:

both genres equally blow.

Posted by Zombie0915 on Apr-03-2006 14:22:

I like me some cheesy HHC goodness, if you can just lighten up a bit it is great fun to act like a lunatic for a night. The fun thing about these super cheesy ripoff parties, is that the crowd there are infinitely cooler than the crowd at the more "serious" parties. They dont give a fuck what you look like or how you act, you can show up in yer pajamas with blinkling lights taped to your nipples and people actually like it. You can do whatever the fuck you want and the retarded ass vanity obvsessed coolkids of the EDM world arent there to harass you for it.

That is what its all about, complete total disinhibition, doing whatever the fuck you want, acting as stupid as you want, flailing like an idiot to stupid fun music, and these cheese heads have it down much better than even the coolect of trance fans, because tehy can lighten up and have fun without worring what people look like or act like.

That is their power, to lay vanity aside and have fun anyway. None of the bullshit, no cliques, no fashion, no exclusion, no standing in line looking pretty waiting for the drink special, just dancing around like idiots in your ninja turtle pajamas and your blinking light toys.

Anyone who doesn't like happy hardcore can not possibly have a very well developed a sense of humour.

Either that, or they take music way, way, WAAAAAAY too seriously.

the problem like with many genres is people hear one or two songs and nulify a genre totally. The very best hardcore is as good as the very best trance, allbeit in a different way. Then you just have the retards such as Apollo_144 who can't see past their beloved digweed for long enough to acknowledge the existance of other sounds,

Unless we find it poor and not particularly funny either.

Just because I don't like Jay Leno doesn't mean I take TV too seriously.

Posted by Mag1k on Apr-03-2006 14:55:

happy hardcore is not music
