hello evreybody mavves back , with another sample hahaha.
how ever this is only ideas this is something i do besides Electric Culture at the moment, and this is the non vocal version.
reactions on this piece would be great.

This is mainly the build up before the break, have another version ready to go but it needs some minor adjustments.

i dont like the bass you start out with, but i do like what it changes into @ 1:13...

the drums @ 0:13 & 0:28 are a little off, i like what youre doing with them tho.

i like the guitar that comes in @ 1:29

percussion and FX are sweet!

Hey Mavve,

Listened to this new sample of yours. I do not like the basssound in the beginning either. But when u add that big subbas at 0.30 minutes the combination of those basses together is great. Suggestion therefore is let that first bass come up by automating the cutoff in the beginning to let the sound come in less abrupt.

Other than that it is hard to tell anything yet about where you are heading with this sample. Percussion again is great, guitar that you introduce and melody are pretty nice but it is still build up and as you know most important things happen in the breakdown and leadpart of a trancetrack But this really has a nice summerish groove so far.

agree with bass not sounding great, its very housy, then again your kick and percs are housy so i dont no if this is what your intentions were.

like the melody at 1:13 bouncy and happy

was just getting into the track and it stopped

1:13 is great however i think you should work on the build to that more.

New version upp in 10 min =) how ever I took your toughts in mind while uppgrading this. now its got some beta vocals. and a melody idea , and yes alex its a loop.
this tune was made in all together 2 h, but hey Rome wasent built in one day either. this isnt what i normaly make you will hear it got cheesy =)very cheesy. LOL

The beggining is much better now, and the overall sound is good.
Still dont like to hear a drum loop that i recognice

Vocals is good, even though they need some eq'ing i guess.
They sound very high passed.

Melodies are good, fits well with vocals.

You've made it sound so much better since the previous sample, so now i am really curious to hear the finished version

Wow this is really a sweet track. I'll be listening to the unfinished product many times mind you :P

I have to confess I am absolutely fascinated by the way the kick drum cuts right through the mix. I am not sure if it is because of the loudness of the track but I have been trying to achieve this with compression and a really sharp and fat kick sample. Sounds to me like a loop though and I don't really use loops for kicks and stuff.

Anyways, this track definetly has an energy and I am sure it'd rock a dance floor at this stage even but the vocals would sound nicer if they were fattened up like the mids and lows for them are no where in sight.

The drums and everything are sweet but they kind of get a lil louder near the higher freqs (the pedal hi-hat).

Otherwise, this is a sweet track keep workin on it and I'll be checkin back.

Hi guys. ive made a nother version nothing new only tweaked it. and to be honest this ia one of my "learn to produce better " Trax so ive choosen a new aproach to the track, you will hear that the kick is more powerful and doesent have that chill kinda feel to it anymore... more upplifting =) and alex my friend I will take care of that sample of yours at final stage its very temporary at the moment. and the kick isnt any loop most of the perc are made by hand atm.and the kick is my first upplifting (so it sounds on my Phones at least hahaha its 02.00 here =))the old kick hade that effect beacuse it was cuting trough a hat and snare while it was compresed and hade some reverb ... it fits very good when making deep vocal trance =) btw this is the same kick sample will post tweaked version when done =) tnx , I almost forgot the vocals are very hard to fit in the track atm. they were recorded on pc 1dollar mic and so was electric culture you might hear some fuzzy noises its tweaked to the max right now ill record it whit a proper mic and add to the track when done. // Mavve

If I were mixing it on the dance floor I'd prolly be adding a couple of dB of gain to the overall song because it has become quiter.

The synth melodies that develop are fantastic and fun to listen to. And the kick sounds different, not loopish anymore.

The vocals however don't sound like they are on the same scale as the music which adds a lazy feeling to them.

Anywayz, let us know of any further developments. I'll be checkin back.

that might have made me lowering it to much hehehe , and yea the vocals arent fitting theyr gona be removed and recorded properly =), Ill post an uppdate whene done , right now ive upploaded a tweaked version of electric culture whit some new thing in it. give it a listen its around here in the forum some where =) / Tnx again - Mavve

Nice effects in the beginning, but it seems out of place with the bassline that comes in. The keys don't match. I like that metallic reverse. Basslines fit nicely together. The vocals are nice..but I don't know what the hell she's saying. Percussion is filling, a bit too loud though. The melody that comes in at 1 minute is pleasant.

Break is normal. The main lead that comes in sounds kind of cheesy, but it works. Hmm lots of quality atmosphere when everythign kicks in. I like the pads, the rhythm, and the just like dreamy type of feel.

Pretty solid dude. Maybe a little mastering but it's a tight song. More like a progressive, driving at night type of song. Something to relax to. Good job dude.

Tnx mate for the great reply! The atmosphere is one of the things I value the most when makin a track so Im happy you like it. and ive listened to the kick in monitors and I hear just like you said that theyr kinda meaty , Ill adjust this when final. tnx again for the relpy!

i like the bassline - quite funky....the kick is a bit muffled and i dont like how the hats suddenly come in...like the vocals - could do with upping the volume on them..really like the synth coming after the break..gets nice and uplifting near the end..yeah i like this..i just think the vocal volume is too low...keep it up!
