[ROLL CALL] Lee Burridge @ Cielo, Afterparty @ Apt. 4/7/06

So who's coming out this Friday. I know there's a good amount of competition, but hopefully some of you will be there. PLEASE NOTE RECENTLY ANNOUNCED AFTERPARTY.

I know that Blitzy and two friends coming up from DC are planning on going to see Lee Burridge. Drew, her friend Jeney, and myself may be joining them.

so Blitz + 2 (maybe 5)

I'm a huge Lee fan. There is just sooo much going on this Friday.

I'll be at Love and then Sully most likely.

I know, the amount of good parties going on between last weekend and this upcoming one is kind of a bummer since you've got to knowingly skip good events.

I was kind of bummed to skip Sven Vath and MANDY/Booka Shade this weekend. Then again, I didn't even know if the Booka Shade event was happening until the last minute since it was supposed to be at Avalon.

I would love to join you guys but I will be out of town this weekend visiting my brother and my new nephew Have fun and post a review though! Will have to party with you next time

I think I'm out of all events this weekend. I might be opting to stay home and make use of my tv, sofa, and some good old smoking...

That's what the hours of 3-10 pm are for. You know, the time between waking up and going out again.

I assume right afterwards, at like 4 am.

Yeah, it kind of hurt us, too. I just really shorted myself on sleep Sunday night.

Or the infamous remote lounge opening up at 8am LOL


The liquor license in NY closes at 4am, so clubs stop serving liquor at that time. But most go until 7-8am-ish when a good DJ comes around (which seems to be like every week or two)...be prepared to spend money, NYC is NOT CHEAP! that is if you drink and party excessively....so cutting back is a form of catching up on rest and keeping your pockets heavy...

Cielo closes at 4, though.

I'm pretty sure Lee is spinning. He did an afterparty as part of his 365 project after Danny Howells @ Spirit last year. I didn't go, but heard Danny finished up at like 6-7 am (which is the norm for most clubs), and close to the end of the set, they announced afterhours at APT with Lee and charged like $10 for people coming from Spirit.

There is no alcohol after 4, though. I think they restart at 8, but I'm not sure.

isn't howells at crobar or some other venue on friday night?

i smell a howells appearance at the after party

Just to clear up the confusion, the afterparty will begin at 5:30am.

I cheat and take a disco nap, but still rarely make it to the afterparty.

I'm excited for this though! Advanced tix are sold out and the afterparty's going until noon
