Honestly this track didnt do too much for me. I think its a filler for the next track adding to the suspense. The vocals are alright, not much of a great melody or feel to it. Probably the problem is that it was placed at a wrong part of the set... no, its just not that great. 4/10

Well first of all im not much for male vocals in dance tracks. This tune is no exception. I thought it was another filler because the next track makes going thru this one well worth the wait. The bassline and tribal drum effects make it alright but the feel is just not there. 6/10

Hey a filler! Havent heard one of these since the begginning of the first CD. Reminds me a little to much of Goa to tell the truth. Better than most Proggy Psy and Goa but not up to par in my opinion. Boooooring. Worst track in the CD 4/10

I dont think these tracks deserve a rating that low, and others deserve a rating that high... Also you're giving that cd 9 out of 10 ? Thats actually way too much...

I dont think your review has much credibility left after reading this

How could you rate any track 10/10?

10. Kalafut & Fygle - Novocaine (Mark Otten Remix).
This Mix from the last song to this one was practically impossible to hear.

Are you serious????

Cause really this is one of the most horrible transitions I've ever heard on a Mix Compilation CD.

listen to it and isn't that bad, beat mix is oke and a long mix in the beginning the sounds get a bit bussy but at the end very nice

so dissagree with you

Actually I absolutely love that transition, hehe...

Sure beatmatch is okay, but that doesn't make a good transition.

First minute of the transition is okay then it gets really bad. The highlight of Let Me Be clashes with the piano bits and the beginning of the break of Novocaine. That's a shame cause mixing this way really takes away the beauty of these two stunning tracks, which have been my favorites for months.

This transition really kills the highlight of Let Me Be and the first part of Novocaine.

But perhaps it's just something personal, cause when I saw the tracklist these two tunes were suppose to be the highlight of the two cds, but when I heard the transition for the first time I had something like: Oh Noooo, what are you doing to these tunes!!!

For some people it will work fine this way and if you don't know these tunes perhaps you won't even notice. But for me it still is a big disappointment, but hey that's just me...

You should hear the transition in your own mixes

I didn't say I could do it better ,

but I rather had a huge trainwreck between these tunes and respecting the tunes as they are then have them mixed this way..

I know I know, if you found a track thats 10/10 what more is there to look for.

The Norman Tune like much of the duo's tunes just dont do it for me. I stick to my judgement of the tracks.

Maybe I should have assessed them on a 100 scale for more accuracy. lol

I will do mine on a simple scale.

CD 1: Track selection: A-. It would have been an A+ but I agree the male vocals kills the mood of the cd. When I purchase the actual cd, that track will get skipped every time. Transitions. C+. Especially the first 4 mixes. I have a pair of Fisher Price record players and could do better. Gets better after that at least for a while.

CD 2: Track selection: B+. Mixing B+. Better mixed, more consistent than disc 1. A little slow and dark which I like because it reminds me of trance form the early to mid-90s. Some people may not like it as much as disc 1, but at least Tijs shows he actually can make some good transitions when he wants too. I think he just was lazy on disc1 and wanted the tunes to speak for themselves. I hope.

Overall grade: B. This is mainly due to the track selection and the fact that it is a HUGE improvement over the pos that was ISOS 4. If he could just mix his studio mixes better, it would be an A. I've seen Tijs live many times and his mixes usually aren't as bad as on the last two ISOS.

How Did you think it compares to the first 4 ISOS's. I was looking at the ISOS website and it showed Volume VI in the little tab. Noooo Not Yett!
