Maximum Capacity at teh Guvernment?

Hey does anybody know the maximum capacity at the guvernment and Kool Haus. Also for and event like LoL, when the skybar and all the other rooms are open (I remember the asking the bouncer and he said like 28,000 people, but I find that hard to believe). Thanks for any help...

I'd guess around 4-5k with the entire complex open, with some space to move.

guv: 1600
kh: 2000 (in largest capacity layout)
drink: 400
d'luxe: 1600
tanja: 50
skybar: 400
patio: 200
gallery: 200

TOTAL: 6450 people capacity in entire complex.

Guv has had up to nearly 3k in it and KH can have 3+ easy, so I think the "capacity" listed above is off.

no such thing.

For LoL it's around 10k...i've had a conversation with a few of their bouncers on this before.

I agree b/c there's NO way that the Guv and teh D'Luxe Lounge have the same capacity, there is a HUGEEEE size difference.

That is the # I've seen floating around as well. Total complex - 10k (which may not be fire code).

plus they oversell a lot of the time

so i see there are challengers to my list.
go the the guvernment's website and check the capacities for each room.

oh and the orange room is 300 people. sorry i missed that.

if any of you are wondering where it says it, click on facilites on their website, then click on one of the rooms, then click on specifications.

I WIN! maybe the list is wrong and they probably have put more people in there, but thats what the website says.

What they say on their website, what they are legally allowed to have and what they actually do are all different things.

well thats with everything though.
you can only but 5 people in a car legally but everyone knows you can put more.

but what they can actually fit no one really knows for sure. 10000 seems to be the main number but one bouncer had said 28000 which is almost 3 times as much.

That's what I've always thought!

if the capacity is 10,000 then labour of love in 2002 (?) was well over 14,000+

yeah thats way too high.

Posted by Billche on Apr-04-2006 16:45:

the bouncer probably quoted you the main rooms square footage.

Capacity (legally) is probably around 6500-7000 as listed above, but they always pack it above that, especially for all access events.

Winter months for an all access event, Id guess the capacity would be around 7500-8000. Summer months, with the skybar/patio open, probably around 9000. If they have a tent set up like they did at LoL, Id bump it up to 10000.
