Etymotic Research ER-20 earplugs - where do i buy them?

i got 2 friends who want these for upcoming Decadence.

i dont know if they will arrive ontime if they get them off ebay.

is there any local place i can grab them from??? or if anybody has them for sale.

Before you go ordering them....
If your purchase is more than $20, UPS will charge u taxes & handling fees. I ordered 3 pairs 2 mos back, and was hit w/a $40-some charge, so I sent them back. They can send them to you regular mail if you call and specify (they are well aware of this problem when shipping to Canada), but be warned- they sent them to me regular mail, and it took over 3-4 WEEKS to arrive! That's Canada Post for ya!

Because they were taking so long to come, I called and complained, and asked them to resend the order to my friends address in the states via UPS, whom I'd be meeting down in Miami for WMC. Stupidly tho, the package didn't arrive b4 they left on vacation either, and arrived the day they left. So there I was, without ear plugs for WMC still. My friend now has to send me them again. Hopefully they arrive quicker this time around. If they do, I'll let you know, cuz I could sell u 2 pairs if need be.

and shipping to the US is only 3$ that way.

If you order of their site, its 12$ US and shipping to the US is 6$.

Just throwing it out there.

They are BRAND NEW of Yahoo Buy Now and they are offered in all the colour offers on the offical company's site.

I'm ordering my pair tomrrow. I've left the US address I'm shipping them to at home the last 2 days!

I'm rememberign it tomrrow though!

If you call them and ask them to send it to you in a regular envolope instead shipping is only $1 in the US.

Turns out my friends still have those earplugs sitting at their house. I wouldn't expect them to arrive b4 Decadence, if at all.

Colin's earplugs arrived at my house here in the US yesterday. If you want me to bring them to you, I'm coming up for Decadence next week.

PM me if interested but I'd order them like today if you want to make sure they get to me in time.

Kris, who is going to be carrying a purse full of little plastic earplug cases with labels on them for who they go to at this point

When I ordered them it took two days to arrive here, so I wouldn't be too worried about it getting here for a weeks time.

yeah i ordered 4 pairs for me and my friends on tuesday from etymotic.com and they got delivered today (thursday) to mississauga.

no problems at all.

I got musician's earplugs from an audiologist at College and Augusta in that medical centre on the North side of College (Kensington Medical Centre?). The guy's name is Marshall Chasin and I did some research. He had the best price from what I found.

They take a mould of your ear and man, does it hurt! It's totally worth saving your hearing, though!

I love my earplugs. They're perfect for DJing and uber comfortable.

That is, if you're talking about the custom ones?

(If I start a thread about this I will, I didn't because I'm a hypocrite I've been going without them, even when after the fact I was diagnosed with severe tennitis in the left ear. Now I got the protection, different story.
