just a no frills big black box known for probably the best custom analog sound system in the world.Also know for being open for 48 hours straight for certain events.Pure audio sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

even the shitters are customized for maximum sound

so crisp you can crawl into the speaker stacks without fucking your ears.i think i did too many drugs.

I feel that somehow Stealth and Urban Gorilla should be there

Technically it's just a night, held at several clubs. However, the Gatecrasher building in Sheffield is generally regarded as the Gatecrasher club. There's the logo on the side of it and all.

dont forget this list is compiled by a british publication...
London is most definatly a clubbing capital but i think there is obviously some bias here.
Dont forget Dj's walk into clubs receive VIP treatment and perks galore.
If actual clubbers were polled the list would be so different.
Ie: The Guv in Toronto is the club i hate the most in the world.Just my opinion, but you are packed in like sardines, no room to dance with sketched out 50 year old asians everywhere...fun fun fun
how it made it to 12 is beyond me, considering half the totas bitch about it.

I've been to Space and Cielo and both are top notch clubs for completely different reasons. I'm surprised Cielo made it, as it's so small. I've seen some big names there (Zabiela, Howells, Seaman, Sasha), but as they can only hold 300-350 people, the megaclubs in NY usually book all of the DJs that I would expect to vote in this poll.

And +1 to the person that commented on the UK bias. There's quite a few in there that I've heard are great, but there's no way that they've got almost half of top 50 clubs in the world, 10 in London alone.

Well I've never been, because I'm still under-age for two more months, but the general consensus is that Crasher as a whole is utter shit now. They dropped the trance focus for a while, and now they're realising the error and trying to reinvent themselves back into their golden image.
