just got my fractured tooth pulled out yesterday.
scary shit. i was given the nitrous before the
operation but i had diffculty breathing. a while
later i was hallucinating and i felt everything was
spinning. I think i even lost concisousness for a
while. during this ordeal i think i overheard the
doctor telling the assistant to write a checklist and
to remember to turn off oxygen tank from previous
use... but when i asked if there was an oxygen
problem, she said everything was normal....

i've gotten 4 teeth pulled out, and i didn't get any nitrous... they just froze my mouth with needles. And it wasn't an operation, they pulled them out old school with pliars.

holy shit, u guys got drugs??? i've had one tooth pulled (when i was younger) and all i got was several measely shots of novicane. and then i drooled all over myself.

i was supposed to get mine pulled over last summer, never happened. supposed to happen soon though. what did they give you?

I had mine out last friday, only under a local anaesthetic though, so I was awake while they sliced open my gum and sawed my tooth into extractable pieces

Swelling has finally gone down, and pain is minimal

when they pulled my wisdom teeth my mom wanted to save money so they used Novocaine instead. I got to hear them ripping the teeth out of my mouth with the pliers. the worst part was when I woke up in the middle of the night dieing of pain when the vicodin wore off

root canal doesnt hurt, they numb you up hardcore. the amount of tooth that is left over is small, though :-/

yea rootcanals arent that bad. the cost hurts more than the actual procedure. mine didnt work however, and needed to get it pulled (molar).
i think the pain i felt afterwards was from all the needles into my jaw rather then the tooth being pulled

I've gotten 4 teeth pulled out, and 3 wisdom teeth surgically removed from the inside of my gums. The sedatives I got gave me severe memory gaps =/ especially after the 3rd and last tooth operation, I couldn't remember anything I did that day. It made things interesting when I opened my backpack when I got home and found stuff I had bought prior to the operation that I couldn't remember at all

ive had two back teeth pulled out. though it was years back now.

the only part that hurts is the needle, other than that you just have to avoid the area for a week or two after. [imagine a gap in your gums with blood in] but that eventually covers over and it's fine.

you just have to close your eyes while some guy is yanking a tooth out.

ive done medical grade nitrous a bunch of times........

never had a tooth pulled tho.

i do get nitrous every time i get a filling tho. nothing like getting insurance to pay for you getting high for an hour.
