Browsin for a new cell phone...
anyone have some good tips on phones to get? i've had samsungs for the past couple of years, i guess i'm used to them.. i like the size of their screens (i always feel like motorola's screen sizes are too small on most of their phones for ex.).. how's the a950?
so i'm open to other suggestions..
i have verizon btw..
thanx !
edit: would like a camera phone and really don't give a shit about vcast..
I have the light pink rzr phone that I got from Verizon. It was on sale and with new every 2 it was only $100. I like it because it's little and PINK!
I think the camera works well and the screen is big..
too bad everyone's got a razr...

my only beef with the razr (well i haven't even used one so this is not from a hands-on perspective) is that it i feel like i will break it in 2 days... i'm rough on things.. shoes, books, clothes, what have you.. i had 3 replacements for breaking my current samsung in the past 1.5 years.. (i have the a670)...

LG VX 8100 seems to be doing the job very well for me. Although I did have to downgrade from a Treo 650
(Insurance issues!) Regardless, I'm still happy with the LG since it does everything I want it to do and nothing that I don't want it to do. *crossing fingers*

I'm thinking about going the Treo 650 route, anyone have experience with them? I'm on sprint and the whole new EVDO fad seems pretty appealing to me...thoughts, comments, suggestions?
The Treo is an awesome phone. Really good conversation starter too, as sad as that is. It's bit heavy, but you eventually get used to it. It fits in the back pocket of my jeans and I wear jeans from Express, so the phone really isn't that big. 650 has a lot less problems than the 600 or 700. If I were you, I'd wait for the 750 to come out. It's be a bit pricer, but a lot more stable than the 700. The 650 is a good investment, but be very protective, because a few drops into it, and your in need of serious repair.

Best phone I ever had...
I work in a cellphone store and we carry T-mobile, Cingular, Sprint and Nextel, everything except for Verizon. The phone we sell the most is the razr. I personally wouldn't recommand you getting the razr, the phone itself have a lot of problems such as the outside LCD sometimes would turn black or flashes when you close the phone, the phone have lagging problems, the quality of the speakerphone is really bad.
I am also trying to get a new phone...I have dropped my current phone one too many times and its giving up on me...lol
Anyone have ideas for a phone that is simplistic....ie: I don't need email, internet, anything fancy, I just want a clear connection and be able to call people, with maybe a camera....and I want it to look pretty
that is all.

i've heard mixed reviews about the treo...one of my coworkers got a treo so he could use it for work...after two weeks he returned it cuz he got fed up with using it to check his work emails
i have the razr...it's perfect for going out since it's so slim...interface is typical motorola...bleh at best
