umm its odd u guys dont know about using ysi on here....alot of the other subforums use it by just changing the URL around when posting the link so that its not a direct link and all the person needs to do to download is copy and paste the link into the address bar and correct what needs to be corrected

^^^^well ever since the first time they blocked some files a few years back, we just stuck to this idea...u "could" uncheck the "automatically parse URLs" option when u make a post containing a link but should the post be quoted by someone else, then the link is active as a direct link. direct links send a header to YSI showing them where the person got the link

yousendit is for sending a file to specific email adresses, the link is not meant to be posted for the general public. No wonder yousentit gets pissed over this kind of thing . I use savefile.com when I want to post a file for the public to download. They give you unlimited bandwidth and number of downloads, and the link lasts 30 days. There are other file send sites, but savefile the most hassle free.

musicv2 is a great service that hosts music and you can directly link to your song (good alternative)... but yousendit is always easier and faster
