Guetta + Garraud Vs. Angello + Ingrosso

Ultimate mcprog house showdoooowwnnnn!

Who's the better house producing duo and why?

Posted by Maor Levi on Apr-08-2006 14:53:

Angello and Ingrosso for me. Apperantly Guetta and Gerraud are focusing only on dancefloor fillers and most of their tunes are repeatetive and boring. Angello & Ingrosso knows how to make it jumpy for dancefloor and not boring. each remix sounds different and offers a new genre of house...

guetta and garraud are not mcprog. theyre french house. and the own angello and ingrosso

I hate getting into wars over genre definitions. However, when I think McProg, I do not think Angello and Ingrosso. Don't confuse the Swedish House Mafia with Ozgur Can, Markus Schulz, et al.

Where?

Guetta & Garraud aren't a duo. Garraud produces for Guetta.

um yes they are. its just that most of the time its credited only to Guetta. like Sasha and Charlie May.

Guetta+Garraud=OWNAGE

I loved Guetta & Garraud before Steve & Sebastian, and I must say I still like them all equally. Guetta is a fantastic DJ when he wants to be, and Joachim Garraud is a beast when it comes to production. They make amazing songs together, but usually not as much as Steve and Sebastian.

The Angello/Ingrosso group's sets usually consist of their own tunes, reworks, remixes, and a lot of people resent that. When it comes to production however, they churn out great songs at a blinding fast speed. It seems like everytime I raise my head from a sneeze theres another song out there that I have to search to find a sample of.

I really can't decide.

I think I may be way off on the definition of mcprog house... Anyone care to shed a light for me?

think Markus Schulz and Andy Moor.

Neither pair plays progressive and most certainly "mcprog".

Both pairs are very good.

I consider them as uplifting trance

I guess we'll just call G + G & A + I as plain old house/funky house/dirty house.

Angello & Ingrosso = "Generic house." ?
