Alex Smoke - Never Want To See You Again

What a georgously lush piece, surpassing even Don't See The Point. I think what makes it so is his ability to utilize classical string elements & warm synth to create tension & release. Paradolia is a soothing electronic lullaby. I love this man.

Paradolia > Incommunicado

You can check out the samples on www.beatport.com Just type in Alex Smoke and you'll find them.

Personally I find this track in particualr very depressing and quite a bore. Now you take away the vocals and you're just left with boring. I actually found his other samples like 'Coda & Clang' and 'Prima Materia' to be way better than this. Now those are some strings I can enjoy listening to. Also 'Meany'and '6AM' are worth pointing out as well. Even tough I like minimal his brand of it is not my cup of tea.

I'm just swooning over Never, it's easily accesible and just drags you in. "Left Drift" is probably my fave from the album. It might be more to your liking. It's got the strings and even a harp. It's more... intricate. I don't even know how to classify it. IDM? Sample

edit* Discogs states his background is rooted in classical, which is definately displayed in Left Drift.

Me likeseth. Also I wouldn't trust discogs too much when it comes to genres. They're correct about 60-70% of the time.
