Wicked idea concerning the worst 2001 tracks

Ok guys do u remember when we made the big big poll about the best 2001 track ? i suggest we do the same but this time for the worst and cheesiest tracks . Since i'm leaving tomorrow for 5 days and won't be online , i suggest someone do it , and if his highness mr_stamper can do that himself , it would be awesome

2001 was a dreadful year for trance....if we poll it....we will never finish cuz there were toooooooo many horrible tracks....lets just name the worst flop album instead.

actually the worst song from last year....kay cee ( all his garbage he brought out)

runner up ( most dissapointing)---- transa - kinetic ( jeez horrible i expected better from the producers of past time hits)

3rd place - Joy energizer

worst album has to go to ....Safri Duo

the physical mix of that tune is amazin IMO

last year wasnt bad for trance at all... u just wernt looking it was more of a year for hard stuff though

2001 was a spot on year for trance i have thoroughly enjoyed it i could easily name 100+ tunes that are fantastic as for bad tunes erm its hard to think of loads at the moment... well everyone said 'DJ Alligator' track was the worst already didnt they? if ya call that trance in my opinion it was just a dancy pop tune which i never even downloaded...mtv put me off that one! ok the tunes which i would stick in the poll are as follows, i see them more as overated, but its all i could think of...

PPK - Resurection (Fun first time round, but overall its terrible)
Marco V - Simulated (Completely overated and does nothing for me at all)
Dance Nation - Sunshine (Gayest tune ever!)

There were some awful tracks........especially progressive deejays who just played really boring tracks to please themselves.

I don't give fuck who flames me for this but I hate Iio - Rapture I'm sorry but that song in my books was turd and overated, the bird who sings it sounds like she's on her death bed. I haven't heard AVBs remix of it but either way the remixes I've heard and the song itself gets on my nerves.

Anything by Ian Van Dahl but thats cheese so it should not count.

In general I wasn't impressed or dissapointed by 2001, there was some ok tracks but there was bad ones too, in general there wasn't really any shit hot Epic/uplifting trance tunes, Hard Trance and Tech Trance had produced some goods to keep me jumping till this year, and now I'm hoping its a good year for all trance.

i'll agree with you, he fucked the first mix (from scott bond's finale galaxia into ferry's own pocket damage).. and spotty going into riva for sure.. but nothin we haven't heard from pvd
the wicked new tracks (eon, east west) make up for it.

below average set but not the worst of the yr.. also consider he threw down a killer tag-team set w/ dj lemon on the same day.

that being said, im now going to delete this set and download some dave seaman

I agree, this tune deserves a place in the final!

I also agree with the person mentioning Dance Nation - Sunshine. That must have to be one of the shittiest cheese tunes ever, still some people seem to like it!
