Blue Ice - Explane (late night rmx)

Hi, last night i was feeling to make a new sound, as an beginner i would like to know what u all think of it , here is a short sample:

Sample BlueIce - LateNight

So will it be

A: Please stop making trance!

B: Hmmz sounds interesting, please make a full track out of this song

Any advice or tips are appriciated

I would never say stop making trance, but you definatly got to work on somethings.

on this extremely short sample you can not say much of substance to you, but the sound is terrible, clipping, hissing...

but dont stop, just finish the track, work on sound levels and finally master it.

And your right the sound is terrible :P, om working on a new sound now, and it sound better..
if some know some reason2.0 tips i would love the hear some..

In a very short sample, this has a lot of potential actually.

As mentioned before you got a lot of clipping and hissing. You have some white noise on a background synth which is the main cause of the hissing. Clipping is the result of overkill on the volume on some of the channels. So EQ to sort that out

Its hard to judge something on such a short clip but im liking the melodies you have here. Some nice synths used and they go well together.

Id say finish this one with a good strong pounding kick and bass to back up your synths. Sort your clipping out, and then post the final version

Also try panning certain synths and drums, it will sound "Bigger"

thnx again, but i have trouble with the kick and the base, to make it sounds good (i use reason2.0), and how do i panning stuff??
