Whats the dress code for crasher NEC??

Whats the dress code for gatecrasher at the NEC??

Like, If i turn up wearing my favourite clothes (huge baggy troswers and a t-shirt saying 'Rehab is for quitters') will i get in??

Posted by Ste on Feb-01-2002 18:30:

hehe your t shirt rules.

that sorta stuff sound about right, i cant really imagine the dress code changing from what it is for normal crasher, but u'd have to listen to what them lot that have already been have 2 say!

Posted by flystyler on Feb-01-2002 18:37:

That is a point, r jeans aloud at gc?

Posted by Ste on Feb-01-2002 18:51:

well not "normal jeans"

i mean i wear these black n silver ones (well they actually look just black now the fuckin dye has worn out!) and last time jeff had these navy blue type denim combats (am i right?) last time so i think theyre ok with denim in that respect, but normal jeans are a no-no methinks

NEC-wise ur probably UK with jeans. If they're ripped in 200 different places and have a skull stitched on the side that's a different story.

basically no sports brands (nike, reebok etc), no check shirts, no obvious retarded demin, and blue hair is an essential

I'm sure there were people wearing that stuff last time. I really don't think they give a shit at NEC mate.

They didn't have a dress code at the NEC, most large events waive them.

Blue Hair is not essential...but the right attitude is.
We at Gatecrasher appreciate glamour and originality. So, no Kickers, Rockports or Timberland shoes, no denim or sportswear, don't wear any heavily badged tops (YSL, Ralph Lauren, Ben Sherman etc) or any checked shirts.
Please ensure that all trainers are smart clean clubbing trainers.
If you are unsure of anything please call us on 0114 276 6777.
Cyber gear is not prohibited but at the same time is not the necessary uniform to gain entry into Gatecrasher.
Please put the effort into something smart that you feel comfortable clubbing in, even if it doesn't illuminate of it's own accord...

Dress up and look cool...You have arrived.

That is the dress code for the club

there is no dress code for the NEC, so long as u dont look like uve bin pulled thru a hedge backwards there wont b a problem.

as 4 gc & jeans, theres a very thin line that u walk on wearin them.. mine are cyberdog denim rave pants with flashy lights so they r ok.. other ppl wear jeans in there, they have to b clubby lookin jeans.. if u know what i mean

That is the dress code for the club ie. @ The Republic. Not for the massive events like NEC.
The big parties dont have a massive dress code, just dont turn up like you've been playing football in the park

Jester

emmmh...cyber-trousers, cyber-shirt, uv-paint, the look of a cainer and a nice friendly attitude

They say they encourage originality, but in all the pictures I see everyone is wearing beads, glowsticks, reflective clothing, spiky hair, and various baby-clubber items.

What's so original about that?

In Newcastle I once saw a man dressed as an SS officer. Now that's original.

How can the kind of people who go there call everyone else sheep, when they wear the same stuff as all their mates? I may be a sheep but I'm not a hypocrite.

...SS OFFICER...as in hitler's sturm staffel boyz in black...mmhhhh very original and very sad...that maybe fits better for april in heidelberg to celebrate that bastards birthday...f@~:ing facists...they should stay at their endstufe and danzig concerts rather than contaminating our dance parties...but yeahh i know what u mean about the originality

i got myself a body-armour type top and flare camos of a german clubwear site and got these glasses which look those diving glasses with nuclear rad hazard signs instead of lenses. they are pinned with tiny little holes...people keep thinking i cant see shit through them but its just like normal a bit like holding a lid of a bucket bong in front of ya' eye...
