hello guys. do you guys know the mackie dfx6 mixer ? its a 6 channel mixer with effects, its a mixer for music production, but i was wondering if this mixer can actually be hooked up to turntables and be used as a dj mixer. im new to all production and djing,, but im getting into both right now, so can someone tell me if computer production mixers can be used as a dj mixer. it might sound dumb to some of you and say Duh ofcourse not, but i would like to know anyway .. thanks

By the looks of it you cannot connect a turntable because it doesnt have have phono preamps.
You wouldnt use this for djing even if it did because it doesnt have a 3 band eq.
Do some searches and look through what equipment other people have.
Do lots of searching in this forum and the production forum and you will find what you need.
