Vanilla Compressor

Anyone used this?

Its a compressor with side chain available free from www.kvr-vst.com

I've never really used and sidechaining, anyone have experience with this plugin?

Cheers,

Lunar

Never used it but thought I would give it a go.
I did notice that you couldn't adjust the volume of the output of the side chain so it may be more quiet than intended.

Will try it later in the week.

Great compressor, has a nice transparent sound but can achieve a heavy pumping sound too if tweaked right.

Never managed to get the side chaining on it to work though.

Aye same problem here, lol!

Anyone got any clues?

Do either of you use Floops?
I have never managed to get sidechain to work on any compressor in Floops, it just doesn't seem to be able to as far as I can tell. I can do it in Reason and Cubase, but just floops seems to go to shit and I can't stand using that peak controller thing.

I use Waves C1 sc for sidechaining. Just read a tutorial on it yesterday. It's actually quite easy. Just google it up and you're good to go.

Sidekick V3 is easy to use and free. I haven't tried it in FL, but it works well in Ableton. I can try it on FL later tonight.
