Mochi balls and you.
Anyone else love these NY treats, ice cream filled doughballs.....
My roommate got some at the new Trader Joe's on 14th, but I refuse to stand in a line outside of a grocery store (not to mention how crowded it is inside), so I haven't had a chance to pick them up.
Anywhere else can you get them?
you can get moochi at any one of the japanese marts. like jasmart on st. marks or sunrise on broome. so tasty. and if you like red bean they have those flavors as well.
never heard of them - guess i'll have to try them
but i did eat a black and white cookie last weekend while in nyc!

i love mocchi ice cream
so chewy.
i also enjoy sweet bean cakes.
I am the one who supplied TJ's mochi balls to this house and I don't eat them
Too much dough, tastes like a mushball... bad texture IMO
Groundhog, the line has calmed down, there was no line to get in at rush hour lately but inside is insanely crowded and the line to the register is 10 mins long
When I took summer courses in the city, I stopped by that Japanese treat store next to Kinokuniya (bookstore) nearly every day. Sooooo good.
Forgot the name. It's across from NBC studios, though.
that's it...i'm getting mochi balls after I get out of work
