damnit..."Rapture" in on Z95 now
I was driving home from work today, & since I forgot to bring my cd's along with me, I decided to turn on the radio & see what the crap-ass radio stations of vancouver had to offer....& there it was Z95 is now playing Iio's Rapture. For a second there I thought it was one of my cd's that I had left in my deck. But once I saw it was on radio, I swear, I felt like phoning them & yelling ever damn swear word I could think of....if I just knew their stupid phone number. argggg
stupid z95

WHAT????????????
are you sure it wasnt one of them dumb house party shows or whatever they have there? cause sometimes they play some not so bad not top 40 stuff
oh my dear gawd, if Z starts playing rapture, i swear ill have to shoot them, anyone wanna join me?
yes, i'll join you. shit man, i just started having an addiction to this tune and now fucking Z is playing it? which mix did they play? Z is so lame, why can't they just stick with those NSYNC, britney and BSB? lame ass shitheads...
I don't know what the fuck Z95 is but I assume its your Britney spears type radio station. Theres nothing fucking worse then the assination of a good song on a pop radio station. In Calgary we have Power 107, or as we like to call it power 187, cause it murders shit!
I heard it yesterday (friday) at around 5:25, so i dunno if it was part or their house party stuff...I think they played the original version...as they are too dump to play any better versions.
but the funny thing is they catch on so late...yet they think they are so ahead.
i wouldve never believed it but, i guess i have to
this is sad, this is very sad

Ok WTF? not to sound like a prick or anything but why does it matter if its played on Z95. I mean if you like a tune you like a tune, where its played shouldnt make a diffrence.
No it shouldn't, but the reality is that usually these stations have 2hrs of repeating loop and once it slides onto there it kills it. You have to of had a song you liked in the past that fell onto the radio's loop and within a week you were so fuckin' sick of it you never wanted to hear it again.
Examples: Sandstorm, Zombie nation
yeah, which mix is it? i bet its not the armin mix... or deep dish, those are both too "non-radio"
riva maybe?
i dont care really cuz rapture is tearing up the canadian charts (according to MuchMusic EC, haha)
and we've all heard this (only decent IMO) track a million times by now..
its the next darude, atb, etc. hehe
i AM surprised to see lange feat. skye - drifting away on top of the euro charts.. its a good track, but not THAT great.. ??
but if Z plays that then we know there's a new station director
top 40 radio stations kills good choons. its a fact.

amen to that brother koss
Very good points, Koss!
I believe there's a radio mix of Iio - Rapture, which is an offshoot of the John Creamer & Stephane K mix.
well the original version is kinda okay for the radio. I mean, it ain't any fully underground stuff, that's prolly why Z is playing it.
I wonder whether the masses like it
