Arksun - Arisen

I heard this tune in an asot episode and it also features on the ASOT 2006 double cd...

It's simply amazing . Those beautiful synths really catch me...
Does anyone know when it's going to be released ? Or maybe Arksun himself could tell

It reminded me a bit of love theme dusk, but improved a 1000 times

Anyway, good job there

Any other thoughts ?

Hmm, it doesn't remind me of love theme dusk at all, but it's a nice track, nothing more

Arisen is a great track from Arksun. It's only been played out twice and once by himself and the other time by Armin van Buuren.

I think it fitted very well into Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance compilation after hearing the full samples in lower quality. Still very interesting though.

It kicks off with a very nice intro-part and some small vocals in it, then it advances a little and the melody comes in quite nicely. I like that break too, the melodies are quite nice over there to. Then it continues to flow, that bassline is quite cool too.

This is a perfect track to start a set with.


I don't know where it'll be released/when it'll be released, but maybe Arksun can tell us that?

It's signed to Anjunabeats, but I doubt it'll be out for a good few months yet.

Near the last weeks of March I saw Armin van Buuren live at Global Gathering 2006 and he opened with "Arisen" ... at the time I had no idea what that track was and I was totally floored by it. When the break came and the melody dropped I got chills down my body, it was so beautiful. Best song I had heard that night. Finally the ASOT 2006 Tracklist shows up and I am listening to samples and I listen to "Arisen" and realize that, that is the track he opened with.

It's such a beautiful trance track, it's what makes me love trance. Great job Arksun.

I just finished listening to my copy of ASOT 2006 and this track really made CD2 worth listening to, this symbolizes everything trance should be and solidifies my belief that Arksun/Luminary is probably one of the best producers in the industry right now. I read on his myspace that he might produce an artist album!!! (I'll be first in line with a preorder)

If Arksun sees this, I'll paypal you whatever you want for an mp3 copy of the single lol. jk

If it were on Anjunabeats, it wouldn't leak soon, but still get a realease in 2009 (if Sirens Of The Sea is anything to go by.)

Class tune. Think it will be up there for me this year. The lush sounds in the break make some emotional stuf

This is trance the way I still love it. Just as great as Escape by Airbase was.

Being released on Armind, I've yet to hear a release date from Armada, but given the Parc remix is already finished and the package is good to go, it hopefully won't be too long.

I'm guessing the Parc remix will be all techified out, which should be interesting. I'm liking this track Lovely breakdown, and the intro is rockin'.

It's a special song for me, it changed my life someways,, ... looking forward to hear the new remix by Airbase, i'm sure it will be awesome too
