We Are Premier League!!!

Finally after 12 years of exile we are back in the promised land of the Premiership!!!

Sheff Utd aren't a fashionable or loveable club like some, and Warnock is gonna wind everybody up, but I reckon we could do alright next season seein as we'll have a lot of money (our debts are pretty much balanced so all our prize money can go on players) plus our other businesses, so a good centre back and a good striker should be enuf!

Congrats to the Blades for a well deserved promotion after a strong campaign.

they have done well but i dont think warnock is good enough for the premiership he hasnt got a clue at times how long has it taken him to get out of the championship with the team he has?
ill be surprised if warnock is still managing at sheff utd at the end of next season.

Six years...

When he first took over we were rock bottom of the league

He got us to the playoff final in 2003 (a season when he also got us to the semi final of the FA and League Cups)

Not bad when you consider this is the first time he's ever had any money to spend on the team (and even then not that much in todays terms)

...and the second horse crosses the finish line.

See you in the Prem!

I'll be honest, I think big changes are needed for sheff utd to stay up, with the exception of tonge & jagielka, some of the players are average. He has too many 'ok' ones which would be better changing to have 4 good ones than 10 of the previously mentioned kind. I think Reading will do best in the prem for sure

I agree to an extent, obviously we need to invest in new blood (and the word on the street we will have 10m to spend/blow!) but it's hard to say who will cut it and who wont as nobody (SU fans included) have seen how our players will play against Prem opposition. I think our more skillful pacy players will be better in the Prem than in this division (eg Webber and Ifill)

If we added 6 new first team players it'd take ages for them to gel and by then it could be too late. I think we have the backbone of a team that could survive with a few additions (defence is the priority) Also, I'd like to see us try and roughen up oppositions, and seeing as divers will be cracked down on most likely next season we n=might get away with it!!

i hate colin. ANd in-turn i have hated sheff united. I hope they get relegated next season, and do so with a lower points total then sunderland.
