Edmonton review: AMAZING ARMIN!!!

What can I say besides Armin delivered another astonishing performance. My legs are broke. Well worth the price i paid for coming to the school 3 hours later to study. Some notable tracks he played:

Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (Alex MORPH Dub)
Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms
Allegoria - Allegoria
John O'Callaghan & Kearney - Exactly
Armin & Gabriel & Dresden - Zocalo
Markus Schulz - Without You Near (Superlong awesome edit for last song)
Coldplay - Talk?? (remix)
Above & Beyond V. Andy Moor - Air For Life
Sunlounger - Whitesand

That's all I remember for now. Was surprised he didn't play either Sail nor Communication. Was well gutted he didn't play Diving in the Sky or On Your Mind... ah well, he still put on an amazing show.

Hope everyone had fun and played safe! Until Judge Jules...
Cheers!
Terry

when did he play Air for life? when did he play? (12 o'clock?) I have to wait 1 hrs in the line up.. so I guess I miss a chunk of his amazing profermance..what tune did he use to end the set? He played without you near then 1-2 tunes that I don't know the name

My leg and arm are very sore right now... I have to type with a chopstick in my mouth..

He started a half hour later at 1245 and I think Air For Life came on about an hr in maybe? Honestly, I have no idea.

He actually ended with Without You Near and BK took over (sidenote:BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!). I'm pretty sure that's how it ended because as Without You Near was playing, Armin left and BK started queueing up already.

oh LOL, i was still banging my head after without you near so I didn't pay attention that Armin left T_T.. I was hoping that I could get his autograph, oh well

/agree, BK = BOOOOOOO

also the ending tune of the night is horrible..the music is playing then bang power off the set, shoo shoo everyone go home . They should end the set like how armin end his ASOT imo.

Armin was pretty good that night, I must say. He played Zocalo right after the 'technical difficulties' when he had to grab someone to come help with the equipment. Two or three tracks later, he played Air For Life. I was impressed with Armin, but NOT impressed with Red's ability to get people into the event. 90 minutes in line is not acceptable.

Oh yeah, the breaker shut off near the beginning of Armin's set. How does that happen to a guy in 2 of his first 4 shows on a tour? Bad luck. But looking at his groupies behind him on stage, his luck can quickly change

I don't have any pictures this time around with Armin. I opted to leave the camera at home, though this time I would have been able to bag great shots since it was the first time Armin has been to Edmonton since the smoking ban (last time the photos were pretty much hands in the air and clouds of smoke).

I got a lot of photos, but no place to host them... sorry.

Armin was amazing...hands down the best show this year!
As for Reds....you only had a 90min wait in line....i showed up right before 10 and i had to wait just over 2 hours...i got in just as armin was about to play. He was still worth the wait!

Haven't been to an event in awhile.
Made the drive up from Calgary to see Armin for what I believe was my 5th time and yes it's still worth catching Armin live.

I was up at the very front near the stage and partying it up for the whole 3 hours. "Without You Near" made my night perfect!
