Satoshi Tomiie Hype Thread
Yes, this man has constantly shown us by his gigs and his productions and remixes that he is the shit but I picked up Renaissance 3D today and it proves more with a nasty as fuck Studio Mix with some nasty unreleased versions of some of his remixes. I always wondered when he would release his own versions for his gigs. So what do you think of the man that brought the world Tears as his first release.
oh and his home mix is just off the hook.
I love ES and ES-B.
I was trying to decide his best solo release and what was his best remix (which is tough to decide)
Like his best release was Tears with Knuckles, followed by Love in Traffic and Up in Flames
his best remix...grrr...FSOL's Papua.....or was it his remix of Hungry, which used the vocal very well.
I appreaciate what Satoshi does
i saw him live about a month ago...and he was actually one of the most boring dj's i've seen hahaha. he plays good music, but the man is like a stone behind the decks...it's kinda funny hehe

i'll look out for him if he comes to t.o
chab lover
satoshi remix was pretty amazing
although not always my style, i definitely have a ton of respect for the guy, He seems very quiet but I think it's just his manner
i love his stuff like the FSOL remix, kosheen remix, love in traffic, but some of his more recent tunes like the chab one i don't like very much...
Tears is one mother of a classic and still imo the best male vocal track EVER. Frankie, Satoshi & Robert did such awesome work on the original and Satoshi's update is tasteful and very good. other good tracks that he's done is Virus & Inspired.
wasnt impressed with 3D besides the third disc. But ES & ES-B were very good!
Great dj/producer for sure imo.
i personally like the 3D comp. each disk really have their own vibe. its fullfilling... so you can put any one of them on depending on your mood. loved Dan Berkson - People on disk 1. and its always great to hear his remixes and songs. hes an extremely talented artist.. from up in flames to virus to atari to love in traffic. and not to mention his remixes.
i havent listend to the ES series but i loved his Nubreed and 3D.
3d is fucken funkeh.. sick comp.

His remix of Papua New Guinea is one of the mightiest tracks I know. Even better than the original.
His remix of Papua New Guinea is everything that made people get mightily sick of prog around 2001. Dull, plodding, murky and too fucking long.
