[SYD] Habit pres. Matt Rowan & Jaytech Fri 12th May

Hi guys

delighted to bring full details of a night that has been a couple of months in the pipeline, is going to be phenomenally big and promises to be the Habit of the year so far

On Fri 12th May we are thrilled to be bringing Matt Rowan and Jaytech to Candys Apartment to play Habit

Since their paths crossed in 2004 Sydney DJ Matt Rowan and Canberra producer James Cayzer (Jaytech) have gone on to become one of the most respected production duos in the country...already signed to Nick Warren's Hope Recordings label and with their recent release "Tomorrow" appearing on Dave Seaman's Renaissance Master Series compilation and storming dance charts worldwide the future could hardly look brighter for the pair.

Musically their bass-driven house is cutting edge. Inimitably unique, dancefloor-focused and characterised by strong melodic influences, it is dance music at its very finest and is rigtly earning the pair the global recognition they are currently receiving.

On the night Matt will be playing a regular DJ set while Jaytech will be showcasing his incredible production skills live on Abelton - for true music affecionados this is going to be one hell of a treat!

Personally of equal excitment though (and no doubt to many TA'ers as well) will be the long awaited return to Habit of Adam Jace

The memories of Adam tearing Candys a new one in November are still fresh in the mind, and having him back to be part our future is thrilling indeed - welcome back Adam Jace

Front room support on the nite will come from The Habit DJs and Gil Reemo

Meanwhile in the back room its the beginning of something new....

We are introducing a new flavour to the back-room of Habit, funkin' it up with the "Second Nature" room.

Featuring a new layout, theming, its own distinct vibe and a consistent music policy "Second Nature" will run as a club within a club, offering genuine variety and making sure no corner of a fantastic venue goes to waste.

The Second Nature DJs on the night will be GRAB, Mish, Andy B and Nathan Bolling playing funked up dirty house with live percussion. Make sure you pay them a visit!
