http://www.bertmonroy.com/fineart/t...neart_damen.htm
2,000 hours of work (11 months)
15,000 layers
250,000 thousand paths
That's like, too many boredom, however, its an amazing paint to say the least

Thats some mad paint work, but its not the most efficent way of putting that kind of scene together.
that's fuckin' impressive.
some of the realistic stuff people create in Photoshop is just mind-blowing. unfortunately i don't think i could ever be patient enough to do something like that.
That image is just amazing.

great picture, but i dont get the point of making it, most commerical art requires way less skill and patients.

I don't like Wicker Park (Damen Blue Line Stop). Bunch of altera-type people live there. Guys wearing tight jeans, retro Ts and chains. I prefer Lincoln Park.
impressive but... whynot just take a picture??

This person is talented. But they probobly suck at painting IRL.
IRL, there are no layers in painting, no undo buttons, you LOSE!

I don't understand, did these start out from nothing, or another picture?
