Dirty South

Evermore - It's Too Late (Dirty South Remix)

sick.

agree?

disagree?

Posted by MiSSyM on Apr-19-2006 14:32:

Haven't heard it to be honest.

But this is another Aussie who is gaining some international recognition.

Good luck to him.

Posted by quidgydog on Apr-19-2006 14:33:

Definately sick.

Makes me want to vomit everytime I hear it.

Boring and unoriginal.

lol

hence the reason i asked.

i would really like to hear what HE thinks is a 'good' track, after such a bold statement.

Posted by MiSSyM on Apr-19-2006 14:41:

lol

it could be Banana's in Pyjama's for all you know.

What difference will it make.

Aslong as you are rockin to the track who cares what people think!

Hmmm, tough one . . . . to be honest not much has taken my fancy of late.

Cirque du Soleil - Pokinoi (Sasha Mix)
Tomonari & Tommy - C Sharp (Alphazone Mix)
A Force - Atomic Outbreak
Vascotia - Calibro (Sonicvibe Mix)

Anything from Fortdax

As always, your opinions may, and will vary.

old or new?

lil bit of both..

The Vanden Plas - Santa Margherita (Peace Division Remix)
True To Nature - New World
East West Connection - Getting Higher (Lexicon Avenue Dub)
Roland Klinkenberg - Monday Groove

new (or recent)...

Cirez D - Copyrat
Michel de Hey - Camera (Funk D'Void rmx)
Johannes Heil - Freaks R Us
S.V.D - Pumpkin
Out of Grace - Mana Burn
Mac & Mac - Listen

i like the song but only because i like the original (the OC ftw!)

i think that they could have done something A LOT more creative with the bassline, the build up is good but then it just degenerates into another boring bassline :\ oh wellz. another song that people on the dancefloor love (cue girls screaming)

you're on your own here floorwhore. had a perfect opportunity but somehow it goes nowhere. gets tired real quick after the first listen.

Hello! Re: Dirty South

Hey Jeff,

Haven't heard it myself but as my sis said, it's a good thing he's getting international recognition.

Now if only Aussies had a clue about talent in Canada - espeically Toronto - with the likes of Sean Miller, Deko-Ze, Addy, Manzone & Strong, just to name a few.....

Agree. Loving this song to bits at the moment as well as Rogue Traders - Watching You (Dirty South Vocal Mix) and Vandalism - Never Say Never (Dirty South Mix)

End of discussion.

Rediscovered the Daft Punk Discovery album....certainly puts more recent tracks to shame (even after all this time)

As for It's Too late...

Love Poundin' Sensation

I love The Hacker

Posted by Trance Nutter on Apr-20-2006 10:11:

That bassline is irritating. Its too overbearing, too cliched for a house track and just too predictable.

in my opinion of course. (before I get accused for being a know it all for disgreeing Why is it you are only a know it all if you disagree?)

He definitely has some skill, good to see an aussie making a name for himself internationally. It's Too Late is a good song imo, has the right sorta material. It's up there with my good song list, doesnt take top spot or anything though. One thing this song does do, is destroy on the floors, people love it, chicks dig it. I heard that the other weekend tom novy stopped the music for 10 seconds or something, then dropped in the opening guitar line and the crowd screamed the roof off.

More power to ya dirty south

Well, I really like the original track and I felt quite offended when Hybrid Junkie played it to me in the car. But, although it may not be the best of tracks, it did grow on me a little and props for it getting out there in the first place!!
