arghhh....bass collisions!!!!
I'm just startin out and already know how to beat match, i'm using a Pioneer DJM-300s mixer, i know already how to beat match...though it stinks when there are bass collisions!, and I want it heard clear when I mix. I'm using equalizers which only help on some tracks I mix, how can I get rid of bass collisions EVERYTIME? If anyone has this mixer, I wanna ask would the TRIM knob work?
well, i think the probly here is that your starting a record too early.. get to know all your tunes and that should help you out greatly
Bring in the next tune exactly when the previous one's bass has fallen off. (Every song declines in bass and drums toward the end, with each "measure".)
If the song doesn't have a clear-cut bass end, then switch basses *gradually* by turning EQ-bass/1 out and EQ-bass/2 in, for a few seconds.
