Dj cola - untitled [Trance something?]

Hey there!
i have been fiddling with this track a bit but not that much.
just wanted to know if you want me to keep working on this?

synths: sytrus only..

yeah i know its YSI but it was the first thing that got in mind and well im to tired to host at soundclick.

hey mate, try and finish the track, it starts of good, i like the way the bassline has this lowering sound its good. you have a nice clear kick there, i think if you were to use this for a track try and add more fx's to this first 2 minutes to make it extra cool also try and find a really good leading synth with lots of energy that fits in well with the kick, good job and i want to hear the finished version! good luck,

im working on the lead sound.. its hard to make your own stuff with sytrus, its a spacestation (problably nothing to zeta but still).

what did you think of the percs and acid line? is there anything i can improve?

was the filtering ok or did it cut?

I got disappointed when it ends... so I hope you finish it!

im just wondering though are you guys being dissapointed beacuse it was good and short or that the pre break part sucked?



ive made it longer (the break and the "climax") its around 3 min now.
but i dont have a lead synth, the idea in the break is that the strings will get replaced with the supersaw wich will turn into the lead.
right now i have only added the string (wich sucks) and a ducked saw...

love the beginning that kick and bass work really well together. good the way you bring the bass down a few keys then back.

great sound so far would loved to have heard more though.

im trying to get some cool lead sound but its hard, im thinking of dling some kind of synth demo using it then export the tune ^^

yes, nice groove dude. feels like your streaming along in the beginning, which is a very nice trance groove. i like the stutter transition too.

acidy lick is cool too. tight tech-trance.

definitely keep going. now just more melody, cherries and whip cream.

still havent found a good lead sound, anyone that could maybe direct me to a demo to a good synth or something (since sytrus is teh suxxor at leads)...

No, the pre break part dont sucks so I really want to hear your longer version but the link will not work...

im working on it though but right now im spending most of the time trying to find a good lead sound .

Cool, I like how the bass fades in. Hihats are neat.
The fill with the reversed samples is awesome.
Only thing I don't like is the bass chord progression, it sounds so familiar and overused.

me like best thing ive heard from you.. loving the bassline.. i'd love to work on it with you.. i have a masters degree on hard trance lol

well eldritch i thought the bassline sounded overused but it sounds different in the "whole" melody! .

hahahaa! Now its my turn to judge =) hehehe just kiddin! I like the track. I did know that you where using fruityloops. Till i heard the phaser and the hats. I the bass and the kick. You should get it finished. Would nice to hear more of it =)

bass and kick work well together. nice gritty kick.

you got a good drive from all the parts.

clap sounds odd cos its on the first beat not the second if you know what i mean.. maybe change that .

overall all the sounds seem clean balanced and loud. just make sure you put a massive big melody with it now

is the mixing well? or is there something sounding bad, i know there are some filter issues.
