Energy 52 as an artist was a one hit wonder indeed but the guys behind it, especially Cosmic Baby is far from being a one hit wonder and Kid Paul had at least one other pretty big hit back in the day, Velocity - Lust.

As above, Ascension might be concidered as a one hit wonder artist wise, For A Lifetime just wasn't anything special in comparison. The duo's other aliases easily make up for the "loss" tho as they are also known as The Space Brothers, Lustral and Chakra among a bunch of others under which they have had several massive hits over the years. |
Jessica Folker - To Be able to Love
Digital Allies - Without You

| Originally posted by Ishkur Probably none of them. It's generally the same guys, releasing the same material, under countless different aliases. observe: aka Bruno Sanchioni, who was also one-third of smash group B.B.E (Flash, Orion, 7 Days in one Week). Alternatively, he also produced under these aliases: 2 Deeep, 7even, Bassliner, Bazz, BST, Channel 5, Chico Crew, Classex, E-Legal, Ener, Enter, Illicit Experiment, Introsik, Plexus, Public Ambient, Red Princess and Two Fishes. I've never even heard of it, but its comprised of B-Men and Jim Vgen, who mostly release music together under the more famous alias Keros...and also The Phunky-Tec Brothers and Mr. Controller. Stardust is Alan Braxe and Thomas Bangalter, the latter being Daft Punk, and both being French House legends. aka Andreas Krger aka Dr. DNA aka Fussgnger aka Plaste & Elaste aka Solid State....an early trance/goa master. is Oliver Huntemann and Stephan Bodzin, who also produce as Alpha Beat (Summer of Love), Caunos (Hertzsprung), Daddy Cool, Hector (Luv Me), Maniax, Pitcher (Strike), Pulzar, Taiko (Die Blechtrommel, Silence) Is Florian Senfter, and Zombie Nation was actually his first release. He's since abandoned the name and now releases stuff under the alias John Starlight or DJ Splank! Never heard of it. They are Michael Schug, Oliver Schulz & Florian Fischhaber. I don't feel like discogging this one. Brainbug is Alberto Bertapelle. He released stuff under Space Shuttle as well. Not just nightmare, but he's released a whole bunch of similar-sounding tracks, all with that intense high string sense of foreboding involved. Never heard of it. Apparently it's the brainchild of one Ian Masterson, who also released stuff as Bold And The Beautiful, Brittlestar, Monoboy, Flexifinger, Mekka, and none other than Planet Perfecto (aka he and Paul Oakenfold....Bullet in the Gun ring a bell?) From the very beginning, Binary Finary was only meant to be one track. One definitive, super track that is upgraded every year. It's members come and go, actually, and at one point there were five of them, and over the years different people have joined and left the outfit including Matt Darey and Paul van Dyk, but generally the core of the operation is Stuart Matheson and Matt Laws. They release stuff as Cloudbreak now. Never heard of it. According to Allmusic, it was a teen pop group in the mid 90s hired specifically to be chewed up and spat out by the industry like so many naive wannabes before and since, and so in every textbook sense of the meaning, this is the only track you listed that actually qualifies as a bonafied one-hit wonder. That is, if it was any kind of hit at all. |

) and well. And quite possibly the most influential group to have ever come out of the EDM genre, Stardust would then NOT be dubbed as a one hit wonder.
