What trance/dance artists do you think were one hit wonders?

Energy 52 as an artist was a one hit wonder indeed but the guys behind it, especially Cosmic Baby is far from being a one hit wonder and Kid Paul had at least one other pretty big hit back in the day, Velocity - Lust.

As above, Ascension might be concidered as a one hit wonder artist wise, For A Lifetime just wasn't anything special in comparison. The duo's other aliases easily make up for the "loss" tho as they are also known as The Space Brothers, Lustral and Chakra among a bunch of others under which they have had several massive hits over the years.

Why would being under different alias', or in a group that only did 1-2 tracks together mean its a 1 hit wonder?

Maybe i would consider a producer as a 1 hit wonder if they are part of a group and never produced anything else that was great.

For Example Liam McGuinness in Nitromethane - Time to die, but I would never say the group was a 1 hit wonder

if it was an alias Id agree with you but since its a group they formed a different sound. kind of like a band that was a one hit wonder and then a member went off to have a successful solo career. the band is still a one hit wonder, regardless of the solo artists' success.

I dont think Cafe Del mar was any more popular then any of their other tracks till it was remixed

well theres a reason its been remixed nearly every year since and its remixes are an extension of the record itself.

Although it's already been pointed out to you that the main man behind the alias "Stardust" is Thomas Bangalter, it's hard to make more than one hit when you only make one song under the name Stardust (Unless another track was made under that name).

And since Daft Punk is Alive (pun intended ) and well. And quite possibly the most influential group to have ever come out of the EDM genre, Stardust would then NOT be dubbed as a one hit wonder.
