after posting this track up here a few weeks ago i got some helpful pointers. piano is now louder.

i got heavy handed with sending this out and i got a nice reply from marcel woods. but he said the track sounded to 'fluffy' sound wise. i cleaned my mixdown up because of this and the track is way more clear now.

Not My Style, but I like it

intro sounds cleaner must be the mastering.

breakdown sounds much tighter also. sounds very professional. can't fault it so far. that bassy melody is very nice with the supporting pad.

very pro sounding you got. like this a lot. maybe you should try and send it out.

You know what i think of the track already.

Still, imo, the piano is too quiet. I would like to hear it more because i love it

But thats it, the rest of the track is great!

One thought is that i'm very excited about how this would sound with the full piano and melody after the break, I think that would be so powerful in this track!

so much better. way bad ass now. very tight and grainy sound.
it brings out those tom rushes better.
the scrapes and sounds overall are slick and metallic to a slight degree.
it is very enjoyable and sonically balanced now. I think the changes are good.
the whole mix sounds darker and more sexual now, sort of predatory. it's very cool and professional. nice work.

it's not my bag but the production on it is good...nice and tight, I like the saws.

the melody feels like echoes or something kindoff cool, is the melody offbeat? ^^.
the melody is cool. the rolling bassline is really great!

i think the track is better but the piano should have a higher volume, it would make the track better according to me.

mr cola - the clipping is just a downside to the sound on the ring mod kick effect i applied to the sound. i left it raw cos i knew that when mixed the sound will not be heared.

The pino you had.l should be not really be putted higher volyme insteat would i like to hear a delay in stereo on it instead. That would bread clean cut over everything else =). But i like it lot. Have nt heard the original track so i cant compare it that way!

nice start, good kick.

Percs at 0.40 are pretty cool. after some time, the break on the percs gets abit annoying, takes away abit of drive imo.

The gatered sound at 2.16 is great, also nice sound that emerges in the back (dunno what it is), nice metalic feel. Great work on that

Cool melody on the gatered sound in the break, the sound itself should get a bit fatter imo, sounds abit thin to my ears.

Piano is way to thin sounding imo.

I would maybe add a more present pad to the break to increase the overall atmosphere.

Drums alltogether are pretty cool, except the break on the percs.

I would have added a stronger bassline maybe.

I'll just say that I'm really into this track... diggin the synthesized sounds in it. And one of the best qualityies is that it sounds familiar like a remixed version of a great song that never got the play it deserved. much props. thanks for cleaning it up a bit, sounds very clean now.

This is more like it man, excellent work, atmospheric stuff with a driving bassline.
Not really much in the way of criticism from me, I liked it all.
