[Trance] Space Garden - Nordic Dawn (demo3)

hey,

started a new track
style is uplifting trance. break is included, but i still need an outro

new version is up,
fixed the intro abit, some small eq edits, changed the one synth instrument, dropped the guitar in the break, there was too much playing after the break
working now on the atmo

any kind of feedback is welcome

nice percs and kick. they give a good drive.

bass is also nice and adds to the drive.

the start gives the impression this track is gonna be amature. but this is far from amature in most ways.

the main area of concern is in the arrangement. gradually fading in the parts would work better than just introducing them.

eg. at 1;38 - the synth could start to fade in over say 8 bars. but at 1;38 the nice dreamy pad at 1;53 could start at 1;38 to build emotion before other melodies start.

also i like the dry sounds of the main cheeky synth but its too loud or could do with sitting in the mix better. try lowering the octave? not sure.

3;27 - synth is a bit out of place. the sound would be much better without it.

id drop the 1;38 and 3;27 synths for something else cos the rest is pretty spot on and faultless imo.

nice original sound. i like

Hi lagroom,
I concur with rich about the begin, it sounds kinda Amateur/Basic, the clap sounds too tiny imo, I would try taking down the freqs in the range of 3000 a bit and some reverb with almost zero High Cut to give it more body and sound. There's something about the low end that is creating a bit of conflict with the bass though, I would decide what I want to be the low end in the tune, fi the bass or the kick, right now both seems to be using almost the same range.
Other than that, sounds pretty nice, like videogame music with a barroque feeling.
Nice tune keep it up .
Kopi =o.

hey mate,

the whole production is too dry in my opinion, some things needs more reverb/delay in my opinion, clap is too loud compared to the other elements of the track, the percussion work is nice, some synths needs to be fatter i think,

keep at it mate!

nice avatar, isnt that Grey Fox ?

listening to your track..

it starts out nicely.. the clap may be a tad loud.. dont like the synth u introduce there.. it works better with the bass change, although i would maybe try to make a faster chord progression in there.. break seems a bit sudden.. the melody isnt bad.. the whole thing sounds a bit dry.. but some levels may be adjusted.. keep on going
