Difference between Tiesto May 7th and 8th

Hey Guys can you help me out a little, I'm debating whether or not I want to see Tiesto on his May 7th show or his 8th show, but I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the shows.

His Sunday May 7th show starts at 9pm and goes to 12pm, 3 hours.

While his Monday May 8th show starts at 10pm and goes to 2pm, 4 hours.

The time differene isn't really a big deal but if I going to see Tiesto I want him to at least spin for 3 hours, but I heard Kevin Shiu might open for him. So if he opens for Tiesto on the Sunday show, then he'll only spin for 2 hours, or whatever combination.

Does anyone know how many hours he'll spin on his Sunday and Monday show, or how long Kevin Shiu might open for. I'm thinking Kevin Shiu might not open for him on his Sunday show, making him spin for 3 hours straight without an opener, which I would love.

Well thanks for the Info, I'm actually going to contact the Commodore Ballroom to find out for sure.

I guess if he spins 2 hours either night then the opening DJ will probably only spin one hour on Sunday compared to 2 hours on Monday. I heard Kevin Shiu is pretty good so I'd like to see him spin. Digweed named him the best undiscovered DJ in the world.

yep, kevin shiu is very good
he's opened up for tiest already in the past, think in 2001

if you want to check him out proper, go see him at lotus, he does 3-4 hour sets. think he's there on fridays, but double check with aquayak's events thread to be sure

The doors open at 8pm on Sunday but the show doesn't start till 9pm, and it goes till 12am.

The doors open at 9pm on Monday but the show doesn't start till 10pm, and it goes till 2am.

Sunday is only 3 hours and Monday is 4 hours. I guessing you just see Kevin Shiu spin for less on Sunday, but I'm contacting the Commodore Ballroom to recheck.

Yeah for sure, I'll post the difference after a get an answer for them. I contacted them through their number but all I get is this prerecorded voice saying all the events to come. I think their phone service is down on the weekends. Anyways, I wrote to them via email but they only respond from Mon to Fri, 10 to 6pm. So I'd mostly likely get an answer tomorrow evening. I'll post the results.

I mostly don't care which day I see him, I just want to see him but in general I enjoy his 2 hour sets better because they start off banging and straight to the point. I sometimes find his 3 hour sets to be boring at times and way too many fillers. Just give me 2 hours straight of killer trance. No room to fool around here.

OFFICAIL WORD FROM HOUSE OF BLUES

I just back the info from them, this is what they said:

"The show on the 7th will start at 9pm and the show on the 8th will
start at
10 pm. These are the same shows, same running time, only have
different
start times".

So I guess the Sunday show goes to 1:00am instead of 12:00 like what I was thinking.

Anyone care to comment?

Well maybe the Sunday show ends at 12pm and the Monday show ends at 1pm, making them both run 3 hours long.

I just emailed them again asking for the running times for both shows, keep you guys posted as I get the info.

UPDATE

Got an update from HOB:

"Unfortunately we do not have the running time for the shows. HOB.com support can only confirm the door time and start time of the performance. Please contact the venue directly on the day of the event for more information".

I'm guessing HOB knows nothing about the show.
