Ultra Help

Hey, some friends and I are going to drive down for the ultra music festival and PvD at space. I was wondering if anyone knew of some cheap places to stay and also, pvd is spinning at space on the 24th, which is a sunday, so is that the afterparty at like 12am sunday morning, or does it mean that it starts at 11pm on the 24th? I will stay regardlress, but driving back to school in chicago will SUCK on monday. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure PvD will play on the 24th. Not Ultra's afterparty which, will de done by Tiesto at space. There will be MANY other afterparties all over Miami though. Digweed did Crobar last year. Just keep an open eye. These promoters are being slack with letting the public know whats up. Hell, the event itself isnt even 2 months away and they still havent made a final line-up for Ultra. As far as cheap places to stay: NOWHERE ON THE BEACH! Of that much, i am sure, the rest is wide open. I would recommend Kendall, the section I live in, because everywhere else will Jack up their rates for Conference week. It's a 20 minute drive, but it all depends on your priorities

Hmmm.. but ever since the sept. 11 terrorism attack slowed down the TOURIST businesses, I think that the Hotels wont be as full, so they MAY put some Discounts.... just a thought.

I thought about that too a while ago. But usually things are very expecsive that week, now i think that things will just be expensive, just get rid of the "very" hehe. like hotels and planes and stuff, so plan early!!!

by the way, i booked my hotel like two weeks ago, and when i did they said that they had less then 10 rooms left!!!!! so, people, make plans asap

I'm staying @ Everglades Hotel, 244 Biscayne Blvd. ,phone # 305-379-5461. I made reservations like 3 weeks ago tho :/.
