Anyone get their Ultra DVD in the mail yet?
(I haven't)
uhhh...they had a booth at the event where you were supposed to pick them up.
So I assume they wont be mailing them...

Dude...the video sucks ass! I can't believe it took them that long to make it!
According to the ticket, those who bought tickets there could pick up their DVD's, and those who bought on the website would have them mailed to them.
FYI
but when is it gonna be released to the general public?

Compared to the previous year's DVD, this one is a joke. It's got about 1/2 the songs and performances, no interviews, and the production looks a whole lot more amateurish.
I haven't seen the previous yr's DVD, so I don't know how good or bad that was. But this one really sucks IMO considering the amount of time they spent "putting it together".
I would much rather prefer a live recording to capture the energy and feel of the event instead of just video set to studio tracks...
As for receiving the DVD in the mail, good luck on that. Maybe you can email ultra and ask them to mail you one. But I ordered my ticket online and picked it up at Ultra too... I actually managed to find some stubs people dropped right by the tent, so I redeemed them for a couple morevand gave them to friends who couldn't go.
what the fuck.. no where did i see anytghing about the dvd at ultra.. this whole time im still waiting for mine.. fn bastards! someone should rip it to divx for all of us that were screwed over on this 
i always expect ultra to be shady, but seriously thats messed!

And right next to the Carl Cox tent on the main stage side. Near the booth to buy Ultra T shirts. I saw it right away... sorry to hear you didnt.
Is ripping a DVD easy? I don't have a DVD burner, do I need one? if someone can help me out, I'll rip mine.
PS the DVD is OK. Its basically artists w/ their most played out songs. Ferry - Fire, Armin - Shivers, PvD - Otherside,... but if you want it, let me know.
yeh I couldnt find a map when I got in there. I saw the large maps on the board but to be honest i wasnt really looking for the dvd so maybe i missed it.. feckers!
It would be great if you could rip it, but its not the easiest thing in the world if you havent done it before.. you dont need a dvd burner though, just a dvd drive.
