Bongo & Congo Pitch

Trying to get ethnic with percussion but when I use bongos/congos it seems out of key with the other instruments. Tried playing at different keys but just hits and misses. Anyone know any good bongo/congo tutorials? Thanks

What kind of tutorial is going to help you adjust the pitch? You could adjust it by ear (use smaller intervals than semitones). Or you could try a plugin like this.
