Rasta What do you want to do before you die?

There's a bunch of crap in this forum and it's mostly drama or party info.

So here's something different.

Everyone has goals that they want to achieve before they die & Places they want to go before they get too old.

So go on, list a few things you are just DYING to do

here are some of mine:

- Party in Ibiza, Spain
- Drink a bottle of amazing wine, while smoking amazing herb & chatting it up with an amazing woman (amazing sex soon to come after the night ends)......(oh and all this must happen together in one night, otherwise i've done all 3 separately and that doesn't count!)

- Go on a cruise in the meditteranean (sp?)
- Eat Shark ( i bet it tastes great!)
- Ride an ostrige
- Catch a wave on a surf board
- Fall in love
- Visit Australia
- Go to the Carnival in Brazil
- Buy a winerack that holds +50 bottles
- Collect enough wine to put in my very own made cellar
- Have a child and be a supporting Father
- Drink all the best tequila's
- Buy a small palm tree and take care of it.
- Go to Mexico and eat real mexican food
- Walk the streets of Rome and Venice.
- Para-sailing
- Buy a Motorcycle
- Buy a Jetski
- Snorkle
- Live in my own condo
- Watch the Cirque du soleil live
- Visit California and see what all the fuss is about
- Get a dog (preferably a Border Collie) and train it to play frisbee with me.

i could think of more, but i think thats enough

so what's your list?

Posted by money_penny on Apr-24-2006 21:14:

here's my list.

- visit the following: New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Greece, Hawaii and Graceland.

- see the winter storms in Oregon

- relocate to Southern California

- ride in a hot air balloon

- have my own business...either a music store or a clothing store

- swim with dolphins

- write a book

- Meet Maynard from Tool

- Go see where Jim Morrison is burried

- maybe go to the house of sausage one more time...

- i would like to actually OWN a piece of art by Andy Warhol or Salvador Dali

- Go to see the Bodies Exhibit (hint hint hint)

okay...that's it for now. i have other things i want to do before i die...but, this isn't the right forum. btw, this was harder than i thought it was gonna be.

Something I have done in my lifetime that I am very proud of....something I had wanted to do since i can remember.....

was talk to someone of great importance and ask him or her a question of great importance.

I talked to the highest member of one of the three sects of Zen Buddhism. He was from Japan and had an interpreter and everything. Basically, this guy was the equivalent to the Pope in his sect of Zen Buddhism.

The whole class was about Being & Time, and he had come to give us a lecture on enlightenment.

my question was, once achieving "enlightenment", how do you KNOW you have achieved it (like is there any sign or significant change) and how do you know OTHERS have achieved it before/after you?

the answer I got was even more vague than the question, but well worth the time to listen.
