nice intro. minimal percs and empty but i like it. bass you know i like as i said before. like the variation on the last bar. i see you've beefed the choir pads up. sounds better. makes the track more alive.

breakdown still loving those melodies . lovely work on it by the way. im surprised yo haven't got anything signed yet because this is the type of trance i play and buy.

can't really fault it. if i was too be picky i would say liven the percs up a bit but other than that i loved it.

nice work nik

keep at it!

thanks barry

to be honest i never realy tried to get my stuff signed.

this track probably is 95% finished. wont make fundamental changes about the buildup anymore, just some mastering tweaks.

when its totaly finished i`ll definitely contact some labels.

btw.. any more comments?

very nice track, loving the pads, havent really heard anything esle youve done, but id have to say this is worth, getting signed, id say try and contact, atcr, or a state of trance, it has there sound to it,

and yes id have to say it has that signum, and rapid eye feel to it, its something id play to wind down the set, if you dont mind, im gonna give it a test go on me next set

I like this track, its a bit slower than what I'm used to, however I am not entirely convinced by the synth sound. I think it drags on for a bit too long, but on the whole, a really good track. Love the pads!

jo, geht ab! nice track, mate. but ihmho the sound has too much mids, do you use monitors or hifi-speakers?

Posted by TranscendentalP on May-03-2006 06:17:

hey man

I dont really have too much to say here other than that there isnt a whole lot percussion but hey, it works like a charm here. Great synth sounds and nice flow Keep up the good work!

Hi there Soundrush,

listening;

- I think you need to invest in more modern drum samples to use, or play around with the ones you have more. They sound extremely clean and just like they where sequenced around a bit. Play around with good effects. Some elements are realy good though.

- You bassline sounds very clean also, there isn't much space to it. It's a bit of a trend these days, especialy in progressive trance to have you bass bounce around right left. Either with delay effect(1/4d, 1/8d) of with a flanger, chorus or phaser.

- Melodicaly it's very nice. I like these epic pads. Though I think the sound on your pads could be a little more layered. A good pad can have up to 6 different layers, some of them more present than others.

- Your lead sound is clever, makes me dream of big house parties. The problem is though that the sound is very 1999. Supersaws have been played so much that the punters are starting to get sick of them. These days the analog synth is all the rage, also bitcrushed sounds. A lot of these can be found on softsynths like NI Reactor 5.

Anyway, nice work. It's doesn't sound like you have been lazy on this track and gave it all you got. Especialy on the melody. Keep it up.

kind regards,

CD

nice intro, like the star effect, percussion and kick seems ok here, bass sounds nice, delay on the oh is a bit dodgy, strong clap and groovy bass changes. percussion is not picking up as i expected...

like the pads, when they buildup alot. luv the supersaw too, nice buildup. breakdown sounds nice, like the atmosphere and the kick in but to me somethings missing...

i like the track, to make it better, more percussion, a few more effects and another synth to drive the track slightly more will be perfect, glad to listen to this. keep up the good work!

Really liked this!

Any chance of a full version to use in sets etc?

Not much to add about production, its all prettyu good and deffo signable, good harmonics, and the supersaw is good.

I like, I like a lot!

8/10

Well done duude. Extremely well made. Sounds very 'full', something I can't acjieve right now! Did u say you're using hifi speakers?????
That's extremely good for them! So am I but they give a really different sound to what monitors give. Well done!

thanks again for feedback.

i've currently passed this to some labels, didnt got any responense yet, i will see what happens.

thanks nhibberd for the detailed reviev. i've tried to do something with butcrushing, didnt got any usefull results now but i'll keep that suggestion in mind

thanks terry and lunar phase, the final version i got finished actualy has some more effects and stuff. i'll upload a full final version if the labels dont mention any interest.

thanks alexlosy, yea, my yamaha am actualy creates a pretty neutral sound. anyway some people mentioned that there's a bit to much of mid-range on the mastering. thats something i couldn't figure out on my hi-fi. just keep on producing, your sound will definately improve.
