What was the track that made you love all this dance stuff?
Storm - Time to burn
i was at a party when i was in high school and someone threw that on and right away it was me....."What the hell is this????", "can i get a copy?"
lol....oh the good old days
Daft Punk - Da Funk
Rank 1 - Airwave (original mix)
oceanlab - clear blue water
SYKE!!!
It was Prodigy's songs from Fat of the Land, Daft punk also helped
Around the world I went nuts for.
i always loved daft punk too but that storm track was the first underground stuff i heard. well....when you grew up in sault ste marie thats about as underground as it gets, lol.
Space Brothers - I Still Love You
played by none other but Mr Oakenfold ... live at shadow lounge Miami 1999. my very first EDM party and to this day i get chills listening to this tune and that set.

Probably Firestarter by the Prodigy. My cousin (who was reeeeally big into raves in the late 90's) brought me down in his basement where all his friends (come to think of it now, they were all probably high as a kite)were listening to The Prodigy. I remember dancing and jumping around on the couches. His friend Weezel (yes, that was his name) said "Hey, your cousin should come and rave with us." And I was like "Whats a rave, I want to rave." And what do you know, I went and partied with Weezel and the bunch a couple of years later.

THE song for all EDM?
The Prodigy - Breathe.
The song for trance?
Mario Lopez - Sound of Nature (Plug N'Play Mix)
If we're talking trance, Im not sure.
But if we're talking electronic dance music in general,
it was SNAP - Rhythm is a Dancer circa 1993!
I feel in love with EDM after that point - NEVER LOOKED BACK!
I've been found ever since in life!
Jem
Aqua - Barbie girl (daft punk re-edit version)
Cabala - Dark blue (Original Mix) but before that..
Supernova - we call it underground...
Phat & smalls - Respect the cock
The prodigy - Poison !!!!
open your eyes - nalin and kane
and the entire Live at Home at Space in Ibiza - oakeys essential mix from 99
