virus... or something else

Is it Korg Ttriton LE ? Anyway, the Korg Triton's are very nice indeed, but I would absolutely choose the Acces Virus, is it the C version you are thinking about? You have so much more possiblities when creating sounds when you have a virus since a Triton doesn't really have much knobs and buttons to tweak the waveforms etc.

Depents on what kind of sounds do you want. Virus is a very good all-arounder, but there are better options for certain kinds of sounds.

i had a triton rack a year ago ... not my coup of tea at all.it is quite a big difference between the 2 of them:triton is a rompler and the virus it's a synth(a nice one).

I would get the virus
But it depends very much on you, on what you need.

Dunno

You cannot compare the two. (I have both)

triton is good for "real" bread and butter instruments (guitars, pianos, bass guitars and that sort of stuff), but its application in trance music is very limited. Virus on the other hand is pretty much the benchmark synthesizer for trance, it's capable of doing ALOT of good trancey stuff!

download the "sound design" pdf from the Access site. Also make sure you've got the lastest OS as this fixes a few little bugs and adds some (1.0.9 I think). Plus there are tons of user patches on the site as well.
