Because while the BBCode extension makes it easier, just clicking on the to add them to posts would be even easier.

k, i'm not sure if everyone (save for Nou and josh4) thought i meant to post your favorite message icons in here, but it was more of a medium for support to have admin make those icons into smilies so we could add them to threads easier.

it doesn't matter, you can import any smilies into this engine.
