you work at the studio with fab
arent there people you can ask there?

I was in post-sound for 4 years. Worked at Deluxe Toronto and Access Post Production Audio.

I went to Ryerson for RTA.

Work experience will get you further than education. Intern with Tattersall sound as a sound editor or intern at DOME and shadow the audio guys. PM me if you have more questions, or I'd be happy to talk to you.

We are looking to add a few more Engineers to the Facility.

Wanted to see who knew who to possibly get involved.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

very arguably the top engineering school in the world... sound and other types.

They beat the snot out of Harvard (which is right down the street) in science, math and computing. Other areas are all very competitive at the highest levels but engineering, math and computing are where they lead the world.

Unless you took an internship somewhere, good luck. It's about the hook ups.

I have found that this is the case for almost every job. It's truly incredible the opportunities that you can take advantage of when you know the right people.

You have to pretty much offer to work for free for month to "train" and then hope they call you for freelance, which then leads to full time if you're lucky! That's what I've always seen in my 17 years in the biz.
