Just curious. What kind of training Did you have? where? how long?

I was in post-sound for 4 years. Worked at Deluxe Toronto and Access Post Production Audio.
I went to Ryerson for RTA.
Work experience will get you further than education. Intern with Tattersall sound as a sound editor or intern at DOME and shadow the audio guys. PM me if you have more questions, or I'd be happy to talk to you.

now that said I think most people in the GTA head to Harris for it from my limited understanding of schools there.
Graduated from trebas Institute (Audio engineering) last May,and still looking for jobs hopefuly in post production but no luck yet.

You have to pretty much offer to work for free for month to "train" and then hope they call you for freelance, which then leads to full time if you're lucky! That's what I've always seen in my 17 years in the biz.
