... if the internet were no more?

Any kinds of means very much like the internet wouldn't be available, either.

How would this change your life?

Having been part of my life for almost a decade, and being a tool I've used extensively, I'd miss it a lot, and I'd spend loads of time in libraries in order to "substitute" it, even though it wouldn't come even close.

edit: Oh yes, there's also the whole e-mail thing. And TGP websites. And connecting to MSN twice a year

For one, I wouldn't be answering this question..

It would suck for DJing, because I use the net to buy all my tracks.. so no net, no music, no djing

I'd spend more time out working on my car and photography probably tho. instead of always reading about it..

That means I would actually have to go to a library and pick up a book and read it to study, instead of copying and pasting whats convenient for me.

i would probably be on the phone more, and spending more money. since the internet, i IM more and talk less on the phone. i would also spend a lot more money on phone cards calling my fiance as we always use skype/gizmo etc.

The internet is creating dumber people in high positions because of how easy it is to excell and succeed in school when everything is pretty much already done for you - all you have to do is find it and change the structure a bit and go to thesaurus.com to change words around. There is no such thing as doing a 'research' paper anymore, unless its about some obscure topic.

well i wouldn't have a job anymore, so i guess i'd just be a bum... spend my days laying around reading books and goin swimming, and my nights will be spent having sex and doing drugs, etc...

it's a pretty scary thought when you take it seriously... so much of my life revolves around the internet.
